"The hotel was easy to find, being opposite the Railway Station and therefore an easy walk into the city centre. Car parking on site. There was no noise from the road outside and I could see the sea in the distance from my bedroom. Excellent cooked breakfast !"

"More than adequate for our overnight stay. Loved the nautical theme. Self check in was straight forward. Complimentary breakfast was more than expected along with coffee/tea facilities in the room. Definitely recommend. Would have liked a room with a sea view but it was only a short walk to see the sun set. "

"Ideal for an overnight stop prior to an early ferry. Hosts were excellent and provided good recommendations for local restairants. Breakfast was excellent"

"We were on top floor, room 7. It was quiet and if there were other guests, we didn’t hear them. It would be a tough climb up the stairs for people with mobility issues. Host offered to take luggage up but we managed as we travel light. Nice pub next door; 2 good fish and chips nearby and the maritime museum that has an excellent bistro is within walking distance. "

"A lovely friendly hotel. Very well kept. A nicely decorated room with lovely furniture. Great power shower! The only downside for me was the mattress, it just needs replacing. When you don’t sleep well it’s a shame. The breakfast was lovely, there was a large selection to choose from. A lovely stay!"
