"I enjoyed my stay at Hotel New Yorker and will stay there again as I travel to Miami often. It is a great place and centrally located. It could not be any cleaner."

"Nowhere in the description does it mention that the place reeks of mold—the building is extremely old. I do not recommend it to anyone."

"This place definitely needs a makeover. Things are a bit old, they are in some instances falling apart such as closet doors. Our first night, we were given a first floor place, and in the rear of the door, in the back of the apartment it was a homeless person who settle there at midnight. I had to call the police. The front desk which was located about a block away, never answer my calls. Perhaps the homeless person was not their fault, but I still felt a bit disappointed for the lack of communication when I was trying to reach the front desk via the phone."

"Having an adult pool area with a hot tub that closes at 6pm is not cool. The entire stay the adult pool bar was closed including the weekend. There was no easy room service and what was offered once you figured it out was the same items from restaurant downstairs. No welcome info packet was provided. The hotel and staff and beach are awesome but from a couple of older folks could use some tweaks. "

"Great location and wonderful staff. Property is very clean and well maintained. Oddly seems clothes were damp at times, but could be a result of them placed near air conditioner. Close to restaurant's and grocery stores. Parking and resort fees are excessive, but typically I dont like paying fees that should be part of a per night fee anyway. I would recommend this hotel if you prefer lodging that is not a chain hotel"
