"Great location near public transport. Friendly/helpful staff. My only problem was the bath was quite deep and hard to get in/out of for showering; an age thing but something that others need to be aware of. Other than that niggle, would not hesitate to return."

"What a gem of a place! Beautiful original pub building. Bedroom was spacious and clean. We had a room with a double and a single bed. The double was a bit too hard for us, but the room has everything you need, so can't complain. Breakfast was really impressive and everything was cooked to perfection. The bathroom shower felt like a licking tap as it was so slow and lacked pressure like you would normally have in other hotels. "Owner was rude before we even got to the property (sent me a video telling me she was fed up of lazy people and came across very aggressive). When we arrived at the property it was in poor condition. There was black mold in the bedrooms, missing paint on the walls which were barely covered by paintings. It said it could sleep 12 people but it barely fit 8 of us. There was a limit on the time we could go into the garden and use the hot tub. Also there was a camera pointed directly at the hottub...
