Hotels in Peahala Park, Beach Haven

"My kids loved this hotel and the rooms are a great size.We stayed a Wednesday to a Friday, Thursday morning there was a sign on the pool that it was closed until further notice. When I asked the front desk about it, the gentleman was extremely rude. I heard other guests asking about the pool also, and he was short, unkind and irritated at everyone. We booked this hotel for the pool and we were given no details. On Friday when it was opened the pool and hot tub were freezing."

"I received two key cards for Room 139; however, neither card worked when I initially attempted to enter. I returned to the front desk, where the staff reprogrammed the keys. After receiving the updated key cards, I went back to Room 139 and was able to open the door. Unfortunately, this led to a very uncomfortable and inappropriate situation, as the room was already occupied by another guest. Walking into an occupied room is a serious lapse in basic hotel procedures and raises concerns about both guest privacy and safety. While I understand that mistakes can happen, this experience was extremely unsettling and has left a negative impression. Due to this incident, I will most likely not be returning in the future."

"This is our favorite spot on the island. The entire crew is awesome! Bartenders, wait staff, front desk, etc....everyone is friendly and super accommodating. Food and drinks are superb!"

"The room was clean and dated, but expected from a busy beach front location. Parking was easy, as was check in. Very nice greeting and helpful front desk. "

"I was charged an extra fee by the hotel that was not on the Expedia bill. The hotel staff kept trying to explain to me that it was Expedia's fault. They refused to back it off even after speaking with an Expedia staff member. One staff member said that the fee was already included in my Expedia charge. I got my credit card bill today. They lied. I was charged the extra fee. I would not recommend this hotel for that reason. Had I known about the extra fee, I certainly would not have stayed there. They said it was for ammenities I never used and had no desire to use. I don't like being lied to. "
