The property was heaven on earth! The staff was wonderful and so professional. They went above and beyondto emsure we had a great stay. Our room was amazing, floating breakfast and other meals delicious. The spa experience was ine of the best I've had on vacations! We would come back to Bali just to stay there!

Disappointing and not 5 star
Small property a long way away from central Ubud and also at the end of a difficult unfinished road to navigate through. Rooms are reasonable but very dark inside, needs some updating all round. Food in the restaurant is reasonable but not great with breakfast being very disappointing. Service also is very painful but I’ve noticed this a lot on this trip. Would I stay here again? No thanks…

I really really liked staying Samsara Ubud! It's a little far from downtown, So I have relaxed at the resort very quietly. Overall facilities and services were perfect! All staff was very kind and helpful! But I was told by one staff that he wanted to provide transport service individually, I was really weird. And he told me that don't tell this to the resort.

Had an amazing time staying at Samsara. Villa was spacious, clean and comfortable. Staff were incredible with their service and went above and beyond to meet our needs from start to end of our stay. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again without hesitation!

The secrete of Ubud!
The Staff was simply amazing! The villa we stayed in was excellent however, the lasting impression was with the staff and their eagerness to satisfy our needs in every way. The jungle views were breathtaking and the pools were superb! They offered a free shuttle to Ubud multiple times a day which gave us the option to choose our plans accordingly. Cant say enough about this place!

Samsara Ubud is fantastic
We had a really great experience with samsara Ubud! The villa was modern, secluded, clean and absolutely stunning. The food was great too! The service was even better...the staff are so friendly and go over and beyond to assist. We would definitely return as well as recommend this to others!

Excellent room and view from the room. The room included a heated pool. The location of the hotel was located in the middle of the mountain with great views of the forest. Temperatures were surprisingly cool especially at night, so it was perfect to have a heated pool in the villa. Unfortunately, the heating system was not working well in our pool and it was barely heated compared to others where you can see steam emerging from the pools in the mornings. The rooms were fairly clean but not excellent. Morning breakfasts were great and had great choices including a lobster and poached egg option which was excellent.

Unbelievable service. We commented on how much we loved their orange/clove/cinnamon herbal tea in passing, next thing you know it was delivered complimentary to our room and as a parting gift. It is such little details that sets this property apart. We were assigned a personal Butler to fulfill your every whim. The on site messages treatments were so good we ended up booking it every day of our stay. We stayed at the Mandapa Ritz-Carlton next. I must say Samsara was uniquely genuine in making its guests feel intimately cared for. We will return again.

What a truly amazing hotel! From the moment we arrived until the moment we departed, we were treated like royalty. Check-in at the hotel was excellent. Efficient and loved the home made treats and tea served. The location of the hotel was peaceful and breath taking. Away from all the hustle and bustle of Ubud. Just a short 20 minute journey with free shuttle provided at designated times. The villa was spectacular. Decoration and choice of furniture, spot on. The pool was a decent size for the one bed. Handy that there was a heater installed which is rare with most villas I have stayed in. The food in the restaurant was lovely. Beautifully presented and tasted so good. Everything was fresh. I think the most amazing part of the stay were the staff. Wonderful, kind, friendly, welcoming ... I could go on. A stay at this hotel is well worth it.

Amazing amazing amazing
Just back from the most amazing, the hotel is up there with the best I’ve ever been to. The pictures don’t do just how stunning the location is, you literally feel like you’ve entered another world. It’s tranquil... The staff are fantastic and really set this place apart. They make guests feel special, with no request too big or small. Nothing bad to say about the Samsara- food, rooms, staff are all truly devine.

wonderful 4 night stay
A wonderful 4 night stay...from first arriving the staff were so amazingly helpful and friendly. The villa with pool was beautifully furnished and with a huge bathroom!....Its a 25 minute ride out of ubud, but the hotel runs a 4x a day shuttle service...which was very convenient. Highly recommended

Not actually Villas, but overall pretty good.
Overall a nice hotel in a quiet area with great service. However, the rooms are advertised as villas when in fact they should be called duplex or just room since they are not stand alone villas. The unit has a shared wall with the neighboring room and this limits privacy and quiet. You can hear your neighbor talking and coughing, etc. Also outdoor seating is limited to only two lounge chairs, nothing else which makes the only other seating option a sofa indoors. Other things were not properly planned out too- such as the outdoor shower head is only suitable for someone 5 feet tall. The bathroom sinks do not line up properly with the faucet and so water spills on the counter. These sort of things should be fixed in a 5 star high end premium priced accommodation. The breakfast was excellent and the staff is very good.

Nice hotel
Pros: Provide very personalised services. Receive a very nice birthday cake on my birthday. Hotel condition is good, near to ubud town but can be quite a distant from other sight seeing area. Butler will provide us a small balinese gift daily with a short notes to intro on the items. We have received a flute, a stone with ur name written on it, a balinese fan and a room spray throughout our stay. Thats is a great gesture from the butler. They are also very generous with the serving of their breakfast. Breakfast was superb and tasty. The environment was in the mist of the jungle which allow you to enjoy the fresh air and greenery. We also enjoyed the swim in the night under the moonlight. Pool was kept warm in the middle of the night which was great for night swimmer. Room was kept clean and comfort for good resting. Cons: Was disappointed as has booked a 3 bedroom villa via expedia but later was informed that the 3 bedroom villa was not ready and was given 3 single room villa instead. Bathroom water pressure was slow in room 10. Distance too far away from sightseeing area. Need to travel a 4hr journey to Uluwatu and around 2 hr journey to Kuta etc.

Pleasantly surprised
This was my wife and I first visit to Bali. I must say our hotel accommodations was nothing less than amazing! Great staff that always greeted with a warm hello and catered to your needs. Great view! Plenty of privacy! Definitely a romantic getaway. Samsara is definitely a 5 Star. My only recommendation would add more of a selection to the menu.

Best Ubud experiences ever!!!
Spent amazing 2 nights there to celebrate my mom's birthday. They have prepared short video clip to welcoming & celebrating my mom's birthday which is certainly unforgettable. Beautiful and peaceful surroundings, great breakfast with a view (we had River Lobster for the breakfast, how awesome!), convenient shuttle services from Samsara to Ubud market... They have limited villas unlike other big hotel chains, offering you a considerate and attentive services through their signature butler service- I have left my phone in my room and they have brought it to my dinner place despite of the distance, such a great service! Overall, it was an fantastic staying in Samsara, can't wait to return soon :)

Hotel is new and very nice. Everything is made for us to enjoy our stay. We wanted to stay longer if we could. unfortunately holiday came to an end. But definitely will come back to this place

The hotel surroundings in the jungle where really nice. Every detail had been though of both in the looks and in the service. The villa was nicely decorated and was just like in the pictures and videos. Everything was clean, although a bit (but not too) dated. The breakfast was just perfect! Also dinner was really good. The hotel arranged free trips (e.g. Ubud sightseeing), activities (such as yoga and outside movie). If you look for some peace, quiet and great service, this is a great choice. The only down side was that the walls are quite thin and you can hear noice from the villa sharing a wall with you but that was not a problem at least in our experience

Amazing stay!
On a hillside in the middle of the lost jungles of Ubud the resort Samsara is the perfect getaway and we loved our choice of resort! If you are ever in Ubud this is the place to stay and if you are ever in Bali, consider spending a couple of days in Ubud to experience the island life away from the crowds! Yes, this place is really in the middle of nowhere spot to relax, so don’t expect anything else then just the magic sounds of the jungle and a perfect stay for relaxations! Samsara is an luxurious resort in gorgeous rain forest setting and we had an amazing stay in our villa with a private pool, our butler Putra aced each task with top marks, from smoothly checking us into our villa, handling our random requests with military efficiency, to organizing our restaurant and pampering reservations! All the small details and gifts every night made everything just so personal and so amazing! When you’re away for a visit in Ubud city you are really looking forward to get home for the turndown, can promise you that! :-) We would also give a extra big thank you to following persons that made our stay extra special! Kariasa/Kari for welcoming us in the best way and always looking after us. Putra - our amazing Butler for taking such good care it us and our room and for being an amazing safe driver when going back from Ubud to the hotel! We spent 9 days here for our anniversary, and are really more than satisfied - the hotel, the staff, food & service was faaaantastic. Very kind and helpful with all our requests (some in the night;-)), 5 stars at all issues. at arrival, the anniversary cake and fruits was waiting, bath with fresh flowers and additional shower outside of bathroom - surrounded by stones and bamboo - nice feeling ! room was very spacious with nice design, all in balinese wood - the restaurant - very nice wine selection (recommend also very good ines from Indonesia) and signature drinks, the breakfast - 4 different styles with many options a'la carte - lobster & egg - my favourite, and the main dinner menu is really top one. modern indonesian with touch of french cuisine, really fits all demands...try floating breakfast in your private pool with champaigne, try chakra massage and balinese tea ceremony - they got all for all your senses...shuttle bus service to ubud everyday and booking of all trips you would like to have directly from hotel - simply, forget about everything and enjoy your holiday...we really spend here a beautiful and restfull time, with beautiful jungle views...already promised ourselves to come here again soon...for more than 10 days...thanks to all staff, you are great, and doing great job here for all guests...best regards - Michael & Marika

酒店位置叢林區，私隱度高，也很安靜。 酒店有不同時段免費出市區，所以也很方便，不過車程也要大約半小時多。 整體服務，環境，房間設備，按摩都很乾淨舒服 早餐很好吃，有機會會再來休息
