"The Gables is a magnificent 19th century building. The owners have done a great job of decorating and restoring to reflect the period of the home. My wife has dietary restrictions, and the staff fully accommodated her. Breakfast is served at eight, but Cesar gladly fed us at 6:30 so we could catch a flight. "My room was a dream. I slept so well and so soundly. The building is lovely and the location is very convenient, with minimal neighborhood noise. I had a great stay and absolutely would do so again in the future!"

"This is a wonderful place to stay for the weekend. We stayed only one night and if needed we could have stayed long. Next time we are in Philly we will absolutely stay there again. It’s no frills but doesn’t need to be!"

Only issue we had was with some of the door hardware, but we didn’t notice it until right before we left and we brought it to their attention and they were having someone look at it right after we left.
