"Management decided that it would be good idea to shut off the hot water well before checkout time so the entire hotel had no hot water or water pressure in the morning to shower, etc. Had issues checking in the front desk claimed i was already checked in which of course i was not, obviously they checked in the wrong person under my reservation. Very sketchy part of town, sirens all night, parking lot did not feel safe."

"Parking was tricky and was first-come, first-served, and we didn’t get a spot and had to park on the street 2 of 3 nights. One night there were thunderstorms and hail, so the car got a bit damaged. That wasn’t the hotel’s fault, obviously, but we would’ve felt safer parking in the lot and even better if it were covered. Beautiful place and friendly staff otherwise."

"We enjoyed our stay. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good with different choices. Room was clean and neat. The non smoking policy is a very good thing. Some guests are disrespectful and we could smell some marihuana smoking. I would recommend it. Some people complain about the noise from the highway; it didn’t bother me at all."

"Decent hotel, staff was friendly. Had to check in a day early with a different reservation and they combined them with no issue. Beds were comfy, pillows were rock hard. Rooms were clean, but the bathroom corners definitely needed a good cleaning as they seem to look like they've never been touched. "the last night of my stay was more than horrible! The new room that i checked into on the 17th, room 207 had no working shower and toilet didn’t flush properly. to make matters worse, the people above my room kept me up all night moving furniture around, playing. I’m not sure what all they were doing but i didn’t get to sleep until after 4:30-5 am. I was a complete zombie the next morning at work! "The room floor was sticky, the smell was unpleasant and the shower was dirty with hairs and some other stains of I don’t know what. Staff was helpful but the room was not."

"I'm so happy Dallas has a hostel and Bishop Arts is the perfect neighborhood for it. Checking in and out was super easy and straightforward. The entire property is clean and I saw housekeeping doing work every day and at different times to ensure cleanliness for guests. Parking was easy and plentiful. Lots of restaurants and shops to pop into within a mile."
