I definitely recommend this hotel. The rooms are clean and spacious. The hotel restaurant is located next to the beach which is great. Its only 10 min away by taxi from Patong. The staff is very nice and helpful, in special Poppi from the reception.

Private beach with sea view, far away from payong so you need a taxi or bike everytime you need to go out, best place for a relaxed staycation

They had a private beach. The new building was well maintained. Also amenities were good. Staff were also helpful.

The private beach is so quiet and beautiful! The restaurant is cheap and delicious (especially I like the Tuna steak). The room is wide and perfect ocean view! And the hotel price is cheap! I impressed! But the reception is looks bad.. (Old and not beautiful) Totaly I recommend this hotel :)

Overall the hotel was good and definitely worth what I paid. The only complaint I have is the beds were very hard.

This property is excellent value for money.It is very clean, rooms lovely, staff very pleasant and helpful.It does require some improvements to bring it to 4 star standard but the very cheap price reflects this. The food is very good all freshly cooked but limited choice.We noticed improvements even in the time we stayed there.Great potential.

If you’re looking for a reasonably price hotel on the beach this is good. Unfortunately it’s about 3 km from town uphill. The free shuttle only runs into town at 11am and back at 5pm. Taxi or tuk tuk is expensive.

The Good Location worked fine for my gf & I. Close enough to Patong but far enough outside where it was quiet. We rented a motorbike to get around; but hotel shuttles into city are offered 3 times a day. Check in was smooth, along with the daily cleaning services. Bed was made every day & complimentary water given daily. Bathroom was cleaned daily. Beach only attracted hotels guests, it seemed like. There was a rave like party & DJ that plays on full moons (& half moons?) until 11 which was VERY obnoxious. Keep in mind the demographic is mainly families that stay here. THE BAD The bed was very cheap (or old). The Restaurant staff was extremely rude. It felt like they were run by a separate organization from the main hotel staff. Despite the two buildings being connected. My gf & I asked for hot water one night to fill up our cup of ramen and was told off many times by the manager. We offered to pay for the water and finally got some (for free). We ate breakfast two other occasions & mostly got bad vibes from the stuff.

Think twice before u book
It is a normal old hotel boasting of lot of comfort which is actually not there in the room. Food Not suited for Indians as not even one dish during our 3 days stay was Indian style. Even room is not provided with milk creamer sachets. Free shuttle service is only provide twice and at very uncomfortable times to take a leisurely trip. Transportation to Patong is really costly from this resort

This hotel was SO good to my husband and I. I became very ill on our last night so we had to extend our stay another night. They didn’t charge us extra for it being so last minute. We got moved to a new room with a better view. They offered to bring food for me up to our room. They brought us more toilet paper at 6am. Very kind, compassionate service. Cannot speak highly enough of this hotel!

Cons: dated and mostly cateres to Russians (although it didn’t affect us), Pros: The best beach ever ! Is almost all private. The location is perfect AND they provide a free shuttle to Pating beach, which is where all the happening is at for eating local food and shopping. Is a very clean place so bring dates was hardly felt. If anything needs a repair, they come quick !

Phuket out of town stay
Nice ocean views, old complex with too many levels and stairs. Has its own beach front but is located far out of the main town / shopping area. Very few people spoke any English.

Food in restaurant and breakfast are poor. My husband and I got stomach issues with diarrhea for few days and it really ruined the remaining of our vacation. The resorts should added more free rides and pick up hours from/to hotel to downtown. The restaurant should have the designated area for smokers. Some guests were smoking near the eating area. We had to move to different table while having dinner there .

The breakfast-- food selection was minimal and most of the choices were an unappealing, everyday same menu. The rooms and room service are average. Too many Russians(99%).The hotel still has popularity among the Russian tourists who are seen day and night dozing near the swimming pool.

Overall the hotel more like a Budget hotel. Need an uplifting. The breakfast and food choices are limited and boring. The hotel caters for Russians. The signages are in Russians. Even the excusions and sightseeing meant for the Russians. The hotel does not cater for other nationals and maybe those end up staying there are just a coincidence. Overall impression during our 7 days stay at this hotel the Russian are very unfriendly people. The hotel needs to make every guest regardless of their nationality feel welcome and use English as second language like other other hotels. Overall the hotel staffs are friendly.

The beds were very uncomfortable. Tap water in the bathroom was sandy. No wifi. No hot water. Resort is defynot for Americans. When I informed the manager instead of apologizing she kept interrupting andgave me excuses “oh the internet is in repair” why is it my problem. I booked 2 rooms. Because of taking shower with cold water I got sick. At least they should have refunded my money as the hotel didn’t provide all they promised on there website

Terrible Management
We had paid extra to upgrade to a superior ocean view room but the room we got was literally 10 feet away from a chicken farm. Every morning at 5:30 the roosters would start crowing and not let up till 8 o'clock or so. When I complained to the management about the noise they moved us to a lower grade room which smelled like mildew, had a leaky AC unit that was not working properly and mold covered walls - I have pictures documenting all of this . The worst motel 6 room that I have seen was in better shape than this room! When I spoke to the manager upon checking out she made it sound like the lower grade room is what we had paid for, a complete LIE.

The most unfriendliest staff ever!!! Not a smile to be had from any of the reception staff. They treated me like a burden to them. Room safe was locked and asked 4 times to have it fixed. Each time "right away" and then no response for an hour. Room was nice and view good, but either staff or owner needs to change. Staff walk around, not smiling, looking like zombies. Hated my stay and over joyed to leave. Got to my next resort and all smiles, drink on arrival, helpful, cheerful, amazing and everything good that Tri Trang isn't. I have stayed in a lot of places and never met a bunch of staff so unwilling to smile, be helpful or do a single thing to make my stay more pleasant. Hate to abuse a place, but have to call it as bad as it was. If i was in my own country i would be getting a full refund and tear strips through the whole place. but as I'm on holidays I can't be bothered. DO NOT STAY THERE!!!! P.S. The guys handing out beach towels were nice.

I really enjoyed staying at Tri Trang, its location is in the mountains, out of the noise and traffic. My room had an oceanview and at night could see the city lights... Loved it. The only thing that was slightly disappointing was the tv reception. ...not very clear....but overall the hotel is great.

In need of some renovations
We where pretty lucky and only had booked a night here while going out for a night in Patong. Arriving to the hotel was fairly easy as we had a hire car. The staff where helpful. The room wasn't the cleanest the shower needed a really good clean and the room smelt of smoke. The food that came from the beach restaurant and the room service wasn't great. If I was staying in the hotel for a longer period of time I would have gone out the hotel for every meal.

The area was the best we could have chosen. Away from the busyness of the beach crowd but close to everything. It was a very pretty area of the beach also. The resort itself was nice but you need to get a room on a top floor because of the beach parties at the resort every night. The partying did not last to late. The restaurant was ok but a little expensive. The room was nice and clean. Beds in Thailand are a little hard. The shuttle into town was convient.

Tri Trang Beach Development
This was our third stay at this hotel. Unfortunately the rest of the beach is undergoing development with other large hotels being built, so the tranquility is going. The hotel is fine, in a good location, but the majority of customers are from Russia, who are quite rude and never smile.

The hotel staff was great. Very nice. The room was ok but the beds were as hard as rocks (seriously) and we found a few bugs in the bed. The WIFI sucked, the only good signal was at the beach. The breakfast was bad, at least for me personally I did not continue having breakfast there. WARNING: my friend used one of the ATMs at the hotel and when we got back home her bank account was hacked apparently there was PayPal transfers to some people with Russian names. So do not trust those ATMs

FANTASTIC PROPERTY MARRED BY EXTREMELY POORSERVICE
The service levels are pathetic. Except giving room, the hotel does not believe in providing any service to the customers. I had to complain twelve for about 10 hours after check in for hot water problem in the room and ultimately went and stood at reception and stood till it is set right. Strangely the hotel does not have a duty manager or GM. The entire hotel is run by few employees at the reception who cannot speak in English. Ultimately i was attended by Human Resources head who was courteous. The menu in the restaurant is very limited and poor and staff is discourteous. The hotel is run with very limited staff and every one seems to be stressed and not bothered about customer care. They are too happy with the scores of Russians checking in THIS HOTELS IS DEFINITELY NOT FOR INDIANS.
