We checked in and checked out within the hour without unpacking our bags.We arrived to find the hotel under major refurbishment, which went on till late in the evening meaning no chance of a sleep in or afternoon siesta in the room or by the pool. We paid for Superior Queen rooms but they tried to put us in standard rooms, without offering a refund for the difference, as our rooms were being refurbished at the time. The hotel website lies on numerous facts about it's quality, facilities and proximity to local landmarks and shops we wanted to walk too and the staff were very unhelpful. I would not advise any to stay there that was looking for a relaxing holiday. If you are a single man who is going out all night and only want to sleep there then you may find it appealing for the right price. I walked 100 metres down the road and found a cheaper hotel and 10 times better in every way. I would like to know if Wotif will offer me some kind of refund as they are also fraudulently advertising this hotels quality on their website.

we had work being done at the hotel from 8 am till 4 pm every day banging outside the room could not go on the balcony because off stuff falling also the pool was out off action which was very disappointing for myself and my daughter we checked out a day early because we was fed up thank you for making my holiday a nightmare

Only thing good is close to beach,apart from that. Under renovation, noisy, pool closed, no dinning area, beds terribly uncomfortable The whole hotel was a very bad experience I would advise not too stay here

Bad bad bad experience.
Bad bad bad !!! I book this hotel for a period of 6 days. This was paid in full in advance and even guaranteed with proof on paper from me. At reception 2 guys said with my arrival that there is no booking. They phone the owner / manager and could not sort it out between them. They give the phone to me and he said if i don't pay in full for that night then i must go. I pay again and the next morning i see him face to face at reception and he just give my nights money back with no explanation or excuse. At that stage he got proof of my payment in full in his hand.. They move me from one room to another where the phone did not work, door could not lock, television got no aerial connection wire, air conditioning make hard noise and could not sleep good at night, no water to shower in morning or toilet or any water at all and must ask daily for our free bottled water. This was a bad start of our holiday and spoil it totaly. Stay away from this Patong Swiss Beach Hotel.

Room that I was given was in shocking condition all furniture falling apart. Nothing like the photographs on the web site. Upgraded to a some what better room with balcony at a considerable cost. This room did not have one matching piece of furniture and no wardrobe. Lucky to be alive the steel structure of balcony was so full of rust you could feel it move when you walked on it. Not to mention all the Pigeon poo on the hand railing that no one bothered to clean up. Had no water for a day and a half. Room floor tiles loose and cracked which would indicate structural issues to the building.Air conditioning out door unit made so much noise kept me awake. TV lost tuning which I finally fixed myself. Every day room cleaning would be different. Only one towel one day then no floor mat or face towels the next. No drinking water some days. Yes had kettle one cup and one mug no teaspoon no coffee or sugar. Referred most of the above to reception but nothing happened. Basically the place needs demolishing and re- built.

Nightmare, worst experience of my life,
Stigma for hotel industry, I tried to be ultra polite and get manhandled and hit on body and face thrice by manager mr shafi , he came to my room and abused me, threatened me, hit me. Got dead scared even to go to police, threatened me, charged 3000 bhat extra, didn't give receipt.staff doesn't understand English and mgr repeatedly tells me to cancel booking and get lost..

Thanks very much for your review .staff afternoon shift informed to manager on the report .Guest booking for 4 standard room and them come to check in after 5 minute them come down to front desk and informed to staff don" t like room room very small them want to bigger room and not pay money more . staff explain to them 1 hour for this case .and call to me for this case . 1.hotel offer free of charge them stay deluxe room 1 night only .Reception don"charge money 100 % we check with Camera .Guest not pay money. 2.Next day guest want to stay same room .reception informed deluxe room have another customer book this room . Them not get key back to staff .and go to pp island in the morning come back afternoon. 3.them informed staff go in them room and hit them. My hotel Our hotel has a system and regulations that will teach the staff to service guests. 4.police Guest don" like the room cancel by guest. The above is true and we apologize for making you dissatisfied this time. Hopefully the opportunity will come to you again. General manager

Old and run down. Reception smelled like a toilet. Not all rooms have a sea view, mine was obscured by a huge wall. Pool was tiny and no appararent filtration system meant the water was gross and oily. Wouldn’t stay here again

Originally booked this hotel a month in advance. When we arrived we were told the restaurant and pool were both closed..... 2 main reasons we booked. Front desk was little help but when management was called they quickly remedied the situation and moved us to a new hotel on them.

So gross I quickly found a new hotel...
Tried to check in, but the lady had difficulty finding my reservation. then she tried to charge me again (no thank you)...should have noticed the sign at the desk that if you leave your room, they want you to leave the key at the desk....(umm again, no). Apparently they have no elevator (rooms was second floor) and the bell hop had already left for the day so we had to carry our bags up the stairs (we checked in at 5pm) Nothing looked like the photos. Walked in and the room was dark and dingy, with a funny smell. Also the power didn't work! The ceiling vent cover was open and hanging down with dust bunnies all over it. There was rust in the bathroom which wasn't even a separate room, it was an glass enclosed corner of the room with a sink and toilet - and the shower head was like over the toilet?? weird. gross. everything was dirty. and the door to walk in hit the bed so it felt crazy cramped. Needless to say we left our bags temporarily while we went and found a new hotel down the street. That hotel even walked with us and brought our bags over! When i went downstairs to check out of the Swiss-patong and tell them i wanted a refund, the lasy was rather rude and they told me to cancel on expedia. which of course i couldnt because i had already checked in. NEVER. AGAIN. Save your money and time by going somewhere else.

Absolute disgrace
Hotel owner Christian was very rude and arrogant. Aircon was poor, there was no water on 4 occasions and was told it was tough luck and given a small bottle of water to shower with. CHRISTIAN also threatened to throw me and my friend out for just leaving the key card in the electricity slot for just 2 hours while i went to do some shopping. Really disappointed in this service and hope whatif actually contact me back as they promised. DISGRACE

Our stay was three nights and we enjoyed the location of this hotels was perfect. Away from the noise of Paton but easy walking distance to everything. The rooms are very small, they are also clean. house keeping was prompt. the TV was very small and the reception snowy. The fridge was very cold so that was nice. the sheets and towels are clean but tired looking. A good budget motel with a pool and ocean view at the pool.

I wish I could rate this hotel lower than I have. We checked in, two rooms and both were terrible. One room stank of mildew and the towels were not clean. The other had a broken toilet seat, a broken soap dish and when you used the shower, water went everywhere and the towels were not clean either. The TV channels were unwatchable due to some sort of interference and the air-conditioning was ridiculously underpowered. Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

Rude mgr treat customer booked by 50% secret price
The room is too small. I paid for extra bed fees but the space is too small, can't fitted the extra bed! The manager was so rude that he won't allowed to move a bit the current bed position so that they extra bed can fit properly! In hotels.com, they provide option to choose either 2 single beds or 1 queen bed. So I opt to book at this website instead of Agoda which cheaper around Rm10/night. But when I check-in before 4pm (while stated there 3pm only can start to check-in), the staff said the 2 single beds room only available 4units for the whole hotel! And it was occupied! She keep on changed rooms for the existing tenants, but can't help to arrange for me! Then she informed her Australian manager, who saw the price I paid for (I booked during hotels.com secret price of 50% discount), he was unhappy with me who get the discounted rate, he was so rude to me!

Room old and overdue refurbishment. Hard bed which made it difficult to sleep. Narrow staircase. Which is difficult to manoeuvre if u have suitcase. Staff were friendly, helpful and aimed to please Location at quiet end of town and away from hustle bustle. Short walk to action and directly across the road from Patong beach.

Not worth the money!
I wouldn't have moved to this hotel if I was able to extend my stay next door, Baanboa. Room is too small, noisy because the way the stairs are set up is like you're in a cubicle. You can hear doors banging when they close their doors, people talking by the stairs, yelling,.."Simon! Simon!" in the middle of the night. No breakfast for an expensive place. I had a partial view of the sea from balcony. They should put a sign in the stairways. "Keep quiet" or something.

It is quiet at night compare to other places in Patong. But the hotel is overpriced thou with a nice view. Shower was awful, basically the worst shower facility I have ever had. With the price you pay here you could get something better in Patong.

Terrible - less than 1 star
Very bad and old. I paid see view and there was a building in front. The room is really small and the shower is "over" the toilet! The only nice thing was the lady in the reception. I checked in and out in 15 minutes.

The location is nice just opposite the beach and its quite this side as a bit away from Night life, maybe 10 minutes walk. The staff is very polite and helpful. Tried Indian food at their about to be opened restaurant, was great. The interior also looked nice.

We had a great stay in this beach front hotel. Hotel had all the facilities like Restaurant Pool,Massage,Tour & ATM. Location also has Family mart,Clubs,Bars,Shopping etc. Aircon was good and Staff was polite to guide us. I will recommend a stay its worth every penny i paid.

Patong is not the place we visited six years ago
Patong has been overdeveloped and has become overcrowded. We walked on the road to get around the people. The next morning we moved down the road to Karon Beach which is 400% nicer. We booked a superior room with a balcony. They admitted their error said we would need to get compensated by Hotels.com

Decent place to stay. Beds were firm but comfy. Location was great right on the beach and a short stroll to where you want to go for restaurants or night life etc.

We had the worst room in this hotel.
Bathroom in our room was terrible. We also had to keep our curtains closed all the time as it was along the passage. We paid the same price as other people who had really nice rooms. If you take the shuttle bus from the airport insist they drop you off in front of the hotel. We had to wheel our luggage 1 km and no one could point us to the hotel. Our friend was dropped off in front of the hotel with the same shuttle service.

Great location but got moved rooms a few times
We picked this hotel because it was at the quieter end of the beach and away from the craziness of Bangla Road. When we arrived it became apparent that they had double booked us and we were moved to another hotel the company owned further up the road. This sucked balls because this hotel was adjacent to a karaoke bar which was really loud through till 2am, so not much sleep. We went back and had a whinge and they were accommodating (must've just been double booked for one night!) and put us in rooms on the first floor which were pleasant, equipped and clean. The staff are helpful and friendly, but occasionally come across as abrupt but I think this is down to the language barrier more than anything else. Breakfast isn't good at all, you're best off going next door where the food is great, good value and excellent service. We had both of our rooms changed once during our stay due to leaking pipe work, not ideal but we were informed and when they did move us we were put into suites so far from a disaster.
