The area of Nassfeld has the motto “Nice Surprise” and it really was the nicest surprise to find this lovely hotel in this breathtaking part of the world. We travelled with our teen boys in the summer and they were active all day. From rock climbing (ages 6 and up) to swimming, to the children’s area (arcade style basketball was a big hit!) to mountain biking the local area, this hotel was outstanding. "Stayed in Junior suite in January. Room is very nice and comfortable, bathroom quite old and not so nice. Heating in the room can not be controlled, means you depend on the management to decide what temperature is the best for you :-( Service in the restaurant can be slow some times but the food in general was good. At check in they wanted to charge me for the room that was already paid through hotels.com but the next day the issue was settled. Some receptionists were new and therefore slow but...

"We had an excellent stay here. The staff went out of their way to help us, So friendly and helpful, really kind and our kids loved them! There was bit of confusion about where to park when we arrived after a long and stressful journey and Lara even came over to meet us and waited for us to grab our bags and show us where to park. The staff are based at the Jasna Resort just a couple of minutes up the road but are super responsive. I didn’t get the young man’s name who gave my kids sweets and hosted the mini reception area in the foyer but he was also fantastic. Also provided a fan when it go very hot!!! Highly recommend this beautiful property which is superbly located a couple of minutes walk from everything in town, 5 minutes from the river and 10-15 minutes walk from the lake. We would love to return. Thank you for a lovely stay."

"The staff at the reception were kind and friendly with us.Breakfast was exceptional but it opens 6:30 am to 9:30am which is fine for skiing but in the summer it could be open till 10:30 so you can have a relaxed morning. When you first enter the room it is nice and clean but they don’t clean your room when you’re out."

"We had a brief stop here, a nice hotel with friendly staff. We enjoyed a nice 15 minute walk up into the town centre and had a good wander round and some food and drinks, nicely located on the edge of the town. We didn’t eat at the hotel but it looked very nice."

"Upon arrival the staff was extremely helpful and very polite. We had our dog with us and they suggested places to go with him that he would enjoy. They were spot on. The room was very clean and perfect for the 4 of us. The only suggestion is that the front entry is not great for rolling heavy suitcases into the lobby. There is a combination of half ramp half stairs that requires carrying your luggage. This is an easy thing to resolve and is honestly the only thing to find at fault with the atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to stay in the area."
