"We enjoyed a nice few days in this peaceful hotel which had everything we needed. We particularly chose this hotel for its close proximity to the chair lift down the cliff to the beach ,giving a flat walkway along the beach and then back up using the lift.. Due to a landslip this lift was out of action which severely curtailed our access to the main part of Bournemouth. Due to mobility issues it was necessary to take a taxi to and from the hotel. Sadly this means we would not book this hotel...

"It was 5 star apart from the breakfast hot food bar does not keep food hot enough. Cold eggs are not nice , apart from the temperature of hot food I cannot fault the breakfast. Fabulous array of hot (tepid) and cold food. "

"This was our second visit. We were initially given a room in a bad location on the second floor. We had to walk a lot and go through hot corridors. When we refused the room, we were then given a nice one on the ground floor. It was in good condition, and we really appreciated it."

"Great views We thought that the dog friendly dining room was a great idea. Did not like the two course dining choice. It should have included the desert as part of a three course choice"

"Air conditioning is amazing beds very comfortable but had to check out on the 2nd night at 11pm due to the noise level from a function on & we were right above it! So really spoiled it, no rooms to change was offered! Not good when you have an autistic child with you and had to drive home which was a 3hour drive! "

"Unfortunately the hotel car park was full on arrival, so had to pay £21 to park on the road. One of my wing mirror's ( adjacent to the pavement) was deliberately smashed overnight. I did manage to park in the hotel car park on Saturday, however I will not risk coming back to the hotel again. The incident spoilt the weekend. "

"Yes this hotel is a bit dated but we didn’t care about that. The staff were all lovely, the location is fabulous and the food was excellent. We would 100% stay again. One tiny criticism, the bins on the outside terrace were overflowing and seagulls were fighting over the pizza scraps. "

"It’s a 3 star hotel that doesn’t pretend to be anything other. It’s clean. The food is good and the staff are very helpful. Despite the fact that the hotel was full the room was very quiet and we had a good nights sleep. It was really hot outside and the hotel staff provided us with a fan. Great place to stay"
