"Unfortunately, when I arrived at the hotel, noone was at the desk - and after I walked around and came back, the young lady appeared and said she saw me she was waiting on me to come back around before she came to the desk ( truly didn’t give me a good feeling), so I checked in she pointed out the restaurant, and that was the end of my introduction. When I got to the room, it was clean however, the towels appeared to be dingy, and the refrigerator had rust in it so needless to say, I would not dare to put any food in it. There is no microwave in the room and I just presumed that there was not one available however I saw someone from the staff using a microwave in the hall across from the elevator and I commented on it and she mentioned that there’s one on every floor in this cabinet in the hall. I’m not sure how I was supposed to know that. A minor point here : There is a clock in the room that had the wrong time the entire time I was there. Confusing since it reflected eastern standard time which is the time zone that I live in instead of central standard time ( where the hotel was) so it led to a little bit of confusion. There appeared to be a snack bar, but there was nothing they gave me any indication as to what my access should or should not be to that area. Lastly, when I checked out, there was no inquiry as to how I enjoyed my stay and nothing about we hope you come back so I probably won’t! This is not what I expected from this chain!"

"It was in a good location right next to a bus stop but it looked like they were fixing the place up and I’m sure it will be great when it’s done but it’s not there yet"

"Took a pass on breakfast. It wasn't good. The elevator is loud. I'm sure it's safe, but I've never heard an elevator sound like that before. Hotel is dated, but overall seemed clean. The room was fine. The main light was out in the bathroom. I let the front desk know in the morning, and she said they would send a maintenance guy up. I let her know that we were were getting ready for an event and would be leaving in about 1/2 an hour if he could wait. She told me that wasn't a problem. 5-10 minutes later he shows up. I apologized and told him we would need another 15 minutes as my daughter was literally using the bathroom and getting ready. He visibly rolled his eyes, muttered "yeah okay" and off he went. Thankfully, when we returned to the room, the light was fixed. When booking the hotel, I wasn't sure what our schedule was for my daughter's tournament. I needed 3 nights but I needed a night earlier than what I originally booked and would be leaving a day earlier. I asked if they would make the change and they refused. Hotels.com tried for me with no luck. So I had to pay for 4 nights even though I only needed 3. I have worked at a hotel -- it shouldn't have been a big deal for them to work with me but they refused. Just basic customer service. I definitely won't be staying when we go back next year."

"Bath recently redone, but rest of room a bit tattered. Single pane windows next to busy road were noisy all night. Breakfast was OK."
