"Offered a larger room at check in which was nice and spacious for our needs. Front desk called an hour later to make sure we had everything we needed. There is a decent room service menu and a few restaurant choices close by. As of Mar 2026 there is quite a bit of new construction going on so it may get quite busy. Concierge was helpful to give tips for day trip to Gozo. Didn’t use the outdoor pool in March but facilities look lovely."

"Situated in a great location between Buggiba and St Julien's this hotel has something for everyone. Rooms are spacious and the breakfast is great value for money, the views from the hotel across the bay are fantastic and also the courtyard rooms are really quiet and get the sun in the morning. Bus stopped located just outside the hotel on the main road or take a bolt taxi which is great value for money and takes away the stress. "

"I had the absolute pleasure of staying at Mosta Stays during my trip to Malta, and I can honestly say it was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment I arrived, everything exceeded my expectations. The room was new, beautifully presented, and immaculately clean. Breakfast was standard continental, but perfectly satisfactory with good selection and, importantly, the staff were very accommodating to any requests, which I really appreciated. Overall, it was everything I needed and more - comfortable, convenient, and thoughtfully managed. When I return to Malta, I will definitely be staying at Mosta Stays again without hesitation. "Staff were very friendly and very helpful. The hotel is well placed near lots of restaurants and cafes. Great views out from the breakfast room and from the very large balcony. Breakfasts very good with options for special diets catered for. Indoor pool very relaxing. Handy location not far from bus station. The connected asian restaurant, Chatterbox was very good. A good place to visit out of season."

"Our room was kept very clean and had a wonderful view of the neolithic "temple" on the grounds and St Paul's Bay. The staff were friendly and helpful."

"The hotel was clean and the staff were polite and helpful. When I arrived my room had twin beds, but they were able to change them to a double for an additional €10, which I appreciated. However, there were building works taking place during my stay that I was not informed about before booking. The noise started between 6–7 AM each morning and the walls were vibrating, which meant I was woken up early every day and didn’t have a very restful sleep. The construction also continued throughout the day. I understand it may be the off-season, but I would have appreciated being informed beforehand as I would have chosen a different hotel. Additionally, the rooftop pool was closed on one of the days, which happened to be the sunniest day of my stay, which also wasn’t advertised until I went up to the rooftop. The gym was quite dark as it is located in the basement which made it feel a bit off-putting. Overall the hotel was okay and the staff were friendly, but the lack of notice about the construction and facilities did affect the experience. "
