Pros:
Property a short distance from the Gare De Leon station and the A line metro station. The Airport Direct bus drops off right outside the station entrance so we literally walked maybe 400 meters from bus to hotel.
Service from front desk personnel was great, very friendly, and accommodating.
Rooms are clean and modern, having been recently renovated. Power outlets have USB ports etc..
Plenty of cafes and bistros in the neighborhood. Pharmacy right across the street was helpful when I came down with a cold. There is a small grocery between the station and the hotel making picking up snacks and drinks for room convenient.
Cons:
You'll need that grocery at least for now as their is no food service onsite during the renovation. We were there from Christmas to New Years an the entire ground floor was under heavy construction - walls were still open, wiring exposed etc.. I assume food service will be added downstairs from the look of things but that is a staging area for the construction right now. The wifi on our floor cut out repeatedly. My daughter found it wasn't out on all floors. Just ours. Might be better after construction is finished.
This is neither a pro or a con but just something odd to note. When we made the reservation it was for a room with two beds, as there were 3 of us. They put us in two adjacent rooms (not adjoining) instead. It was OK as my daughter is 18 and I felt safe but would not work for younger kids and we weren't told ahead of time.
