Good location near Montmartre. Room was small but adequate. Bathroom good clean and modern. I got very hot in the bed as I think the mattresses had a lot of man made fibres in them but I guess this is standard. Bed was otherwise comfortable. No tea or coffee making facilities in the room but there was a kitchen downstairs to use, including a microwave. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was overpriced and there was no decaf coffee and the chocolate tasted a bit stale. €15 pp was not worth it. I realised the day after I arrived that I did not need a 4th night but they would not refund me this. Overall good value apart from breakfast.

It’s the second time I stay at Hotel Touring. Reasonably priced, clean comfortable rooms, pleasant and attentive staff. Close to theatres and 3 metro stations. Lots of restaurants, cafes nearby. I will book here again next time I’m in Paris.

When we arrived, the lady on reception was so helpful. Gave us a map and and spent a decent amount of time showing us how to get around Paris. Other staff were also helpful during our stay. The room was a decent size and relatively comfortable. We could use the guest kitchen to make tea and coffee and heat food in the microwave.

Worst hotel experience
I booked a single room during my solo trip to Paris. The room had no soap, just three vials of shampoo. The bed had hair on it from others and was extremely hard. Also, every time you want to leave you have to give them your key. I came back after midnight one night and had to wait on the street to be let in. Also, everyone then knows exactly which room you are in and when you are there, including other guests checking that hear you say your room number and name.

Comfy, clean, quiet room. Nice comfortable bed. It's an older hotel but well maintained. Close to several metro stations, 15-20 min walk to the Opera Garnier and a lot of theatres. Nice reception staff. I have booked it again for my next trip to Paris.

It's just okay
Let's start with the positives: the location is great, walking distance from some main places and metro stations. Not so great: a bit dated and rundown, and the cleanness of the room especially the carpet wasn't good. Old and small shower towels.

This cute little hotel is surrounded by so many restaurants, transportation and so close to Galleries of Lafayette! Walkable and convenient. If rooms could get updated window curtains (run down) and amenities like bar soap, and shampoo, this would be a 5. Beds are comfortable but one pillow had a stain. So, its the little things that could make this a great hotel.

Not deserving of the 8.4 rating
We chose the hotel because of the rating. Sadly, the hotel offered the minimum, towels were too worn out, basic bathroom necessities were missing, WiFi too weak, no kettle, no appropriate lightening in corridors in case of an emergency, pillows uncomfortable etc. We have been customers of hotels.com for years but we are now using hotels.com less because we can no longer trust the rating. We had stayed in many hotels in the same neighbourhood of the hotel Touring in the past with lower rating but better experience.

Good location, not far from metro and major attractions. Room was small. There was hair on bed and towels. Not very clean. Bed sheets had blood stains and marks. They felt clean. Stains were off putting. Concierge was friendly and helpful.

Our stay was fabulous, location was near the train station, easy to find, walking distance to Sacre Coeur a BIG PLUS. Francis the lobby clerk was very helpful and entertaining. Negative: every night there are noisy people in front of the Hotel, other than that Highly Recommended.

Good hotel and great location
It takes a bit of planning to get there from the airport. We took a train and connected to a bus . It's a relly good hub to the main attractions for metro access. The area itself is safe and has lots of restaurants and bars. We were on the top floor facing the courtyard and noise was not a problem. The staff at the hotel were polite and easy to work with. My only complaints are that the towels weren't soft at all, the toiletries are inadequate, and the hotel charges extra for the in room safe.

Ideal hotel for orthodox Jewish visitors to Paris. They provide a hot plate for shabbat, shabbat lamps, and are just in front of the Rue Buffault synagogue. Thank you another warm stay.

The staff at this hotel are very helpful and friendly. The rooms are large by European standards. We had black hairs left on our bed sheets and on the floor in the bathroom. This wasn't that big of a deal. But, for us, the key situation was not our favorite. Our door only locked from the outside. There was tape over the door lock. And, you had to turn in your physical key every time you left the property. There is no safe in the room and because of the key situation, we did not feel comfortable leaving our valuables and passports in the room. The lift only held one person and one suitcase. There is no A/C in the rooms and it was near impossible for me to receive Internet/data service (Verizon International Plan) in my room. The hotel staff were helpful and friendly, but beware that this is not a hotel room most Americans would be accustomed to.

A couple of good cafes right nearby, as well as a mini-supermarket; very useful. Two subways within four blocks. Great public spaces. Room good, if towels and sheets leave a bit to be desired. But a great price and nice people and great location.

Great for families visiting Paris.
Great little hotel for the price, it's really well located, close to fun bars, restaurants, metro stations, made our days in Paris very fun, we stayed in 2 rooms connected, rooms are tiny but for the price they are ok, very clean staff is friendly and over all it was a great experience, we would stay here again.
