Fabulous old world Parisien hotel
Run efficiently by Madame and Monsieur this wonderful, friendly hotel was perfect for us. I’d call it vintage Parisian from the pictures in the front lobby to the spiral staircase leading up to our cosy bedroom on the 3rd floor with its shutters and view of the street corner cafes, comfy bed and piping hot shower. Madame could not have been more friendly and helpful and Monsieur seemed to be ready no matter what time we went down for breakfast and was very accommodating in serving what we wanted. There are lots of cafes and restaurants in easy walking distance including the brilliant Chartiers, with all the charm of the time of Sartre and de Beauvoir. We would not stay anywhere else in Paris and are definitely returning.

Very nice hotel , friendly staff , very clean , a little tired like a lot of city hotels but you don’t spend a long time in the room , everything you need in a well appointed area , staff couldn’t do enough for you , could not recommend enough will definitely try to book again if available next time

Nice property but they had no elevator! This should be mentioned in their profile. Further, there was not only no air conditioning but there also wasnt even a window fan. It was stuffy in our room as a result. The tv was a bit old, I couldn’t cast to it from my Mac.. Minor things, but worth addressing I think.

It's a nice location, but very minimal hotel with very awkward operating policies. No late check in, even though someone is there all night. No visitors after 8PM. You turn in and retrieve your key when you come and go. Front door is locked with a bar. There is no climate control. This hotel won't impress anyone, but it will be a memorable part of your stay!

This is a great little hotel for a night or two maximum but nothing else as the space is really tiny. The bathroom is very small and if you are a tall person you'll struggle. But other than that, it is very conveniently located and close to shops and restaurants. Good value for money.

This hotel is lovely very basic but clean and the beds were very comfy. Very central and safe neighbourhood near to shops / bars and restaurants. The staff were lovely would def go back. Very good price for central Paris

Pleasant stay
The hotel is located next to Stanislas College, close to two metro stations. It looks more like traditional housing converted to hotel. There isn't any lift and the staircase is narrow and winding. Could be a challenge for those with heavy and bulky luggages. The reception is friendly, albeit speak little English. Bathroom door could be further improved. Overall a pleasant stay for the price.

Hotel Stanislas was clean and the staff very friendly. The location on the Left Bank of Paris was perfect. The hotel needs a bit of sprucing up as it looks a bit old and because there is no elevator it was difficult carrying our bags up and down. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay very much.

La estructura necesita reparaciones o mejoras. El staff no está dirigido al customer service, entiendo su primer idioma es Francés, pero deben saber otro idioma (al menos inglés que es casi universal) para poder atender a los turistas. Basicamente se molestaban al hablarles en inglés o español y en francés respondían que solo francés. Deben recordar que somos quienes pagamos por un servicio que a su vez equivale en el pago de sus salarios.

Comfortable, basic stay
We have just returned from a lovely break in Paris and stayed at this hotel. It is a budget hotel so you get what you pay for… I’m more than happy with our stay and would return. Here is an honest review: Pros Price - good value for the price we paid for 2 nights in Paris. The staff are very friendly - considering we spoke different languages, their smiles and body language was really welcoming. The location is brilliant - really close to the Metro for easy travel to the sights and great shopping close by as well as restaurants. The Beds were very comfortable… we slept really well plus our room was a good size. Cons No lift - the building is quite old so understandably there was no lift but this is difficult when travelling with luggage and certainly if one of your party has mobility issues. You have to leave your key with reception when you go out… felt a bit odd as you could return and ask for any room number, there were no checks to make sure you were the person staying in the room. Toilet roll… one spare would be useful rather than having to go and source a roll once you have run out. Quite dated - a bit of paint could completely change the look of the hotel. Lots of potential. I would recommend for the price!

Filthy, smelly, dangerous as no fire escape.
I am shocked that you offer this disgusting place on hotels.com. Everything was dirty...the bathroom, the carpets, the furniture. There were broken items of furniture in our room, and no curtains in our friends’ room. Access was by a single staircase with no fire escape. A very old man...90 plus, I would say, seemed to have been left in charge. His carer arrived on the morning and helped him on with his socks in the foyer. Revolting. This place should be reported to the public health authorities.

Got what I paid for...
Knew what I was getting into with a cheap hotel like this. I will say the staff was lovely, however the rooms are small, and clean-ish, but could certainly have done with a more thorough dusting and a new shower curtain. No shampoo/conditioner/lotion, just a bar of soap. Was there to visit a friend so just crashed there mostly.

The heat wasn’t working and they said the thermostat was fixed to the outside temperature which was 40f outside. They refused to turn up the heat when I asked. WiFi also wasn’t working which is a huge problem when traveling abroad. Room was very dirty. Linens were very old. Pillows and blankets were stained. The room had a very bad odor so they would leave the windows open to air out the room daily, even after I complained about how freezing the room was. I would have to come back to a freezing room nightly. Refused to let me cancel my second and third night after I realized heat and WiFi didn’t work. I was stuck there.

No frills budget accomodation in the best area
20 mins walk to the Eiffel Tower, Saint Germain, the Louvre and the Latin Quartier. Montparnasse is a fantastic area with many restaurants and a few grocery stores very close by. Montparnasse Station 10 walk away. The guys are friendly and helpful with a sense of humour. Needed, as only one could speak english which added interesting moments to the experience! For the price of a room with your own bathroom in this area you can't expect more than soap and fresh towels every day. Its clean enough but old and in need of a refurb. No frills budget accomodation for a solo traveller.

You pay for what you get!
This hotel in Montparnarsse(center of Paris) its close to a lot of tourist sights and has easy metro access. I would recommend this hotel if someone on a budget. I just wish the hotel had fans or AC because Montparnarsse has loud traffic and it get pretty humid in Paris. You have to leave the windows open to stay cool or you have to leave the windows close to have some piece and quiet.

Take the good with what you pay for :)
I came earlier than my check-in time and they accommodated me which was great. Its very small and no elevators. Walking up the steps can be annoying and having to leave your key at the desk when you leave can be annoying but overall it was cool, and the staff was always available. There are plenty of different metro stations near. And things aren't far walking distances. The room was very small and tight as well as the bathroom was very very small.
