Bed bugs, grumpy staff & very dated….
The hotel itself was handy to the metro, a nice restaurant and shopping mall. Those were the positives. At check in we were told they don’t change towels during visits due to eco policy and that breakfast was 4 euros each, even though we had reserved with a free breakfast included. A swipe of my card was taken in case I used the minibar - I only discovered the cost of one night was swiped off my card as security against the minibar and sat pending in my account for 2 weeks! When I contacted the hotel to cancel they told me to wait… After the first night my one pillow was very high so I asked for another and was grumpily handed a very used flat pillow. When I asked for two more bath towels I thought the manager was going to have a fit! The two towels and one hand towel in our room were paper thin and not big enough for an adult and child to dry themselves. On day two of our visit I started to itch, on night three I didn’t get much sleep as I was itching everywhere. My bed had bed bugs!!!! I came home and two weeks later still have marks all over my arms, back, legs and even 2 on my face - this was a cheap hotel but delivered a very cheap service!!! Avoid unless you are desperate.

Bonjour MadameD'une part vous donnez des informations inexactes. Le petit déjeuner n'est jamais inclus dans les réservations, vous devez avoir mal lu ou compris lors de votre réservation. Pour ce qui est de la garantie sr la carte bancaire c'est une procédure classique. Si la plupart des clients ne le voient pas sur leur compte, certaines banques, ce que nous ne pouvons pas savoir, bloquent l'argent sur le compte pour une courte période. Nous n'en sommes pas responsables. Pour les serviettes, elles mesurent 70*140 cm soit la taille normale et sont d'une épaisseur classique, jamais aucun client auparavant n avais signalé qu'elles ne permettent pas de s'essuyer correctement ! Pour ce qui est des démangaïsons, je ne sais d'où elles viennent mais je suis étonné qu'a aucun moment vous ne nous les avez signalées durant votre séjour, afin que nous puissions contrôler votre chambre et en changer si vous le souhaitiez ou étiez par hasard allergique à la moquette ou un autre élément. Nicely done
Nice room and staff in a safe area that is also not too touristy. It might be up an alley, but it is quite well-lit at night, and the whole area is busy even at night. It is also not too far from a large Chinatown

This is a very tired old hotel with really, really bad wifi. However, the hotel manager is really lovely and friendly and the area is convenient for food and the metro.

Quaint Hotel in Latin Quarter
Roussillon is a quaint hotel close to the Latin Quarter. A Metro stop, Place d Italie, is a 5 minute walk away. It is a pleasant 15 minute walk to the heart of the Latin Quarter & another 10 minutes to Notre Dame. Our room was on the 3rd floor & it was a bit of challenge with luggage although the manager assisted. The wifi was sketchy but we were able to connect. Our room was small, not a lot of space to move around, but comfortable. It was very quiet, the hotel is off of a side street away from the busy business district close by. There is a wonderful street market around the corner with fresh fruit, vegetables & bakery stands. There are several restaurants/cafes nearby as well. The room was very clean & well kept. The manager & staff were fabulous, courteous & polite. The manager gave us some very helpful tips on getting to various landmarks & services in the area. If you looking for a friendly, comfortable, clean, very affordable place to stay while in Paris I highly recommend the Hotel Roussillon.

Basic but good location.
Room was adequate but basic. ie one sachet of coffee and one tea bag- no milk. It was a double room so we would have at least had two of each! We had paid more for superior rooms but when I complained I was told I could not expect anything else for the price! Room cleaning was excellent though.

Great stay
We were given a lovely welcome from Nasim on arrival and over our stay gave us much help and information which enabled us to visit some great places of interest that Paris has to offer. Beds were really comfortable and good room service from the maid daily.

L'hôtel du Roussillon se trouve dans une rue piétonne très calme. Le personnel est disponible, à l'écoute et très sympa. Les chambres sont très propres, spacieuses et fonctionnelles. Je recommande cet établissement !

Hôtel très bien situé
HÔTEL situé vers la butte aux cailles : quartier animé. Le metro est à côté. l'hôtel est tres calme mais notre chambre était un peu petite et pas de télé.le service très bien !

Hotel liegt sehr Ruhig und ist trotzdem zentral und verkehrsgünstig gelegen. Sehenswürdigkeiten sind auch fusslaufig erreichbar. Sehr freundliches Management. Gutes Preis - Leistunsverhältnis, sauber. Insgesamt ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt.

친절하고 깔끔하지만 좀 낡았어요
서비스,청결 그리고 관리상태는 좋습니다. 다만 다소 오래된 건물인 것을 감안하고 예약하기를 추천드려요. 저는 처음에 엘리베터도 없고 침대가 많이 낡아서 조금 당황했는데 파리 관광지역 건물은 대체로 오래되서 그렇더군요. 위치상으로 매리트가 있고 숙소에서는 잠만 자는 여행자분들께 추천합니다.
