"The rooms were clean, staff helpful and Friendly. Really no amenities. Shower was terrible, could not control hot and cold water, very tiny shower. One little bump to the handle and it was burning or freezing. Location was excellent. But for the price, probably would not stay there next time"

"I loved the Rhea Silvia Navona! The location right next to the Piazza Navona was amazing! It was just one mile from the Vatican and close to many other tourist attractions and restaurants. The service was impeccable and the room was clean. The complimentary breakfast every morning was delicious with many options available! I ordered online the night before and the breakfast was brought to my room in the desired time frame. One day, I requested a specific delivery time due to a scheduled, early Vatican Museum visit and I received the food right on time. The staff was extremely helpful anytime I needed assistance. There is an old, but serviceable elevator. The hotel is really a guest house and so it does not have overnight staff, which might bother some people, but I always felt safe. The hotel offered the services of a car and driver to pick me up from the airport. This cost 10 Euro more than a taxi, but was well worth the extra money to avoid the very long taxi line coming off the plane from the U.S. when I was already exhausted and nervous since I was an older woman traveling alone. The driver dropped me off about half a block from the hotel as the street is pedestrian only. He pointed out the location. I was a bit intimidated upon first arriving at the hotel, because I was greeted by two very large doors instead of the usual hotel lobby. Press the buzzer to enter and take the elevator from floor zero to one. I highly recommend this guest house!"

"VIEW PICTURES OF VIEW OUT WINDOWS WITH GARBAGE AND ANIMAL EXCREMENT AND POS PROPERTY I HAVE ATTACHED!!! Dear Management of Navona Theatre Hotel, I am writing regarding my recent stay at your hotel from April 29 through May 2, 2026. booked through Expedia. Unfortunately, the room we received was significantly different from what was represented in the Expedia listing and photos. The overall condition and experience were disappointing enough that I feel a partial refund is warranted. Some of the issues we encountered included: Extremely poor and unattractive views from both windows, looking into what appeared to be cluttered service alleys and maintenance areas rather than the charming Roman setting represented online. Garbage and trash frequently sitting near our front door area. Bathroom conditions that appeared worn down and poorly maintained. Light fixtures that appeared loose and barely attached to the wall, creating both an unpleasant appearance and a safety concern. Very limited space and furniture for storing clothing and personal belongings, making the room impractical for a multi-night stay. The room simply did not resemble the quality, atmosphere, or comfort level advertised on Expedia. Had the actual conditions been accurately represented, we would not have selected this property."

"Having an apartment considered the annex was an outside walking distance through the square. At first we were a little surprised, but having a one bedroom apartment with living room area and kitchenatte was great. And farmers market held everyday in the square was entertaining and interesting."
