"Overall it was good. I was disappointed with the breakfast menu. It said intercontinental breakfast. Boiled eggs, cereals, muffins, bread and waffles. A bit disappointed."

"We had an amazing stay at this hotel. Room was very clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The staff were welcoming, friendly. What really makes this hotel special is its peaceful location. It’s surrounded by beautiful greenery, creating such a relaxing atmosphere that we ended up spending our entire first evening at the hotel instead of going out. Having breakfast or dinner under the covered outdoor seating area while enjoying the fresh air was one of the highlights of our trip. Although the hotel is about a 25-minute drive from Parliament Hill, the price is hard to beat. 2 minutes drive to Tim, Subway, and a gas station. The only minor thing I would suggest is updating the pillows, as they could be a bit more comfortable. Overall, this hotel offers fantastic value for money, a quiet and relaxing environment, and excellent customer service. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Ottawa–Gatineau area!"

"We always love to stay at Le Chateau Montebello because of its old world charm, the old fashioned elevators and quirky rooms. There’s lots to do in the summer. The nearby Montebello golf course is beautiful - check out the golf and dine package if it’s available. Also be sure to stop by the Fromagerie Montebello for its wonderful cheeses."
