"The standard of the property is very high and set back on a hillside was actually a nice change from the beach. Wifi was ok and just a 5-10 minute drive to Sengiggi party places. The only downside was a 10am checkout which is pretty unusual in Lombok, especially when it is a requirement to pretty much clean the place up of rubbish and dishes before departure. "Hotel has seen some life over the years, so could do with a bit of refurb (rooms). But the outside area, garden, pool etc is really nice. You spend most pf the time outside and its lovely there. Pool - big; Palm trees - all around; Right on the sea front - yes. They have daily activities, most are for kids but still a bonus. Gym is quite small but is open 24/7 so you can use it whenever. Staff are of course great. Hotel gives off ‘white lotus - hawaii’ vibes, but in a good way. Breakfast is good, enough choice for everyone, both indonesian or continental style. Dinners (we had half board) were limited from actual ‘payable’ menu, but still good enough. Had new dish each night. Location - interesting. Most hotels in senggigi closed some time ago, so only handfull of big ones remain. It is very different to Kuta in the south. The nature is picturesque going up north, so worth it. Take a bike to bangsal and have 5min fast public boat to gili islands."

"It is no criticism to the hotel. Staff were fantastic, service impeccable, no issues with the hotel or staff. My trip from September 8th until 2nd October was as relaxing as I'd hoped. Because it was off season it was very quiet mostly. This was not an issue for me as this was exactly what I wanted. However if you're a party animal then central Senggigi might be more suited. In short I was sorry to leave as I felt so at home there. Maybe return next year but at a more seasonal time. Loved my stay and best wishes to all the people who made my stay so enjoyable."
