"Clean and welcoming atmosphere. After an eight-hour drive, I was glad to see there was a full, although small, bar. Lots of places to eat that are walkable but you have to cross a busy street in potentially overwhelming Texas heat, so driving is probably wise. I would stay here again."

"First time staying at the Big Texan Resort. Clean room, clean sheets, pleasant smell and comfortable bed/bedding. Even with quite a bit of traffic and a full parking lot, it was a quiet environment with no disturbances. Safe walking area in close proximity to the restaurant where we enjoyed snacks and the rocking chairs on the porch in the late evening. Love the themed rooms! We will be back."

"We really enjoyed the indoor pool and hot tub. The breakfast was a full breakfast with lots of choices. An early evening cocktail whether alcoholic or nonalcoholic is included with your stay."
