"Was very busy, number of staff didn’t seem adequate "

"Horrible experience. Worst experience in a hotel. Booked our reservation 2 months in advance and showed up 3 house after check in and room was not ready and had to wait for 1 hour after driving 9 hours with young children. Staff blew off the situation and when escalated to the manager Mark he threatened to kick us out of the facility for simply bringing up the issue. First review I’ve left but this hotel and staff are horrible. Would not recommend and will never stay at this facility again. "

"Great property. But got into the shower and the shampoo and conditioner was completely empty. Contact on the floor. Hard bed. But these were my only gripes. Lovely property. If you walk your dog, walk toward Texas Tech and cross over. Campus is nice and clean. "

"I enjoyed the stay at La Quinta, very friendly and welcoming staff, the property was well maintained. only problem I had was in the gym, one of the cables needs attention , other than that all went very well!"

"It's nice to stay at the Shamrock Country Inn, especially for someone who grew up on Route 66 and appreciates the nostalgia of the vintage motels. The staff is welcoming and accommodating. Rooms are clean and comfortable and breakfast is provided."

"I really enjoyed how close our room was to the exit since we were traveling with our dog and child. The A/C worked great. I loved that we could walk to restaurants. There was an ant infestation in the pool area and our shower/tub did not drain properly. Those were the only downsides. Overall, I would recommend the stay here. "

"The staff here are always super friendly and helpful. Don’t like that the breakfast bar now costs $8 a person AND they got rid of some of the options. Still, it’s a nice, clean hotel."

"While the staff were very nice and check-in went well, the hotel needs to address some issues. Our room was clean however there weren't any shower products. All the containers were empty. Shower was lukewarm and the fire alarm went off at 3:15 am. We tried to call the front desk but the room landline was not working. My husband used his cellphone to reach Josh at the front desk. His response was " yeah the fire alarm doesn't work, and we'll have a good one." Breakfast was okay, bananas were...

"The pool was freezing, and the hot tub was cold with dirty stuff floating all in it. The room was very run down, the couch and chair had holes in the upholstery. Other than that, it was clean, conveniently located, friendly staff, and the breakfast was a good selection! "

"The staff were nice and the hotel was very clean. We needed extra towels and sheets and there were very accommodating. The gym was pretty common to what I see in most hotels, a few cardio machines, but not much in the way of weights and it was overly warm. One area they can improve is the breakfast. The breakfast area is really large, which is great. But they spread everything out into like 4 areas, so you have to search a bit for what you want. There was only one person we saw working the area...
