Hotels in Panhandle Plains with Complimentary Breakfast

"The room itself was ok........clean and comfortable. The common areas of the hotel needed attention from a cleaning standpoint and furniture was dirty, showed signs of wear, needed to be replaced. The breakfast area was borderline filthy and the staff (1) on duty did not seem to keep up with the food offering and I never saw him clean anything. Trash cans were overflowing on to the floor."

"The breakfast was wonderful! Manager’s Happy Hour was nice - entertainment both nights. The staff were friendly and helpful. Beds were comfy but the shower/toilet area was small. Only complaint was the temperature in our room - it was too warm making it difficult to sleep. The a/c couldn’t seem to catch up. The night manager brought us a fan which helped some. Not sure if maintenance ever looked at it since we were not there during the day. "

"There was no bed linens for the pull out sofa in the room. When my husband went down to get them, the front desk did not even give him any pillows. :("

"The pool was freezing, and the hot tub was cold with dirty stuff floating all in it. The room was very run down, the couch and chair had holes in the upholstery. Other than that, it was clean, conveniently located, friendly staff, and the breakfast was a good selection! "

"The staff were nice and the hotel was very clean. We needed extra towels and sheets and there were very accommodating. The gym was pretty common to what I see in most hotels, a few cardio machines, but not much in the way of weights and it was overly warm. One area they can improve is the breakfast. The breakfast area is really large, which is great. But they spread everything out into like 4 areas, so you have to search a bit for what you want. There was only one person we saw working the area and they just couldn't keep up (they were working hard, just too much ground to cover). They ran out of spoons twice, the apple juice ran out, the eggs were empty for a while, etc. It's a really nice hotel, so I'd expect the breakfast to match the rest of the place. "
