"It is unfortunate that I have to write this and it does not bring me joy to do so. We ended up leaving a night early to cut our losses because of the unpleasantness of our stay. TL;DR Inhospitable, unclean, and overdue for a renovation. This place is run down and overdue for an audit. Main issues: 1. Cleanliness - bathroom full of mildew, easy bleach cleaning could have solved this. Plastic signage covered in mildew needs replacing. 2. Damaged furnishing - broken cupboards, ceramic wear,...

"The hotel itself is nice for the price, aircon works great and clean with nice staff. However, the location isnt walking distance to anything (not even a place to get water/snacks), so you have to hail a tricycle on the road to go anywhere. 300P to alona beach where there is things to do. Internet was 10 - MBPs, and GLOBE Cell service is great there. so if you have your own motorbike (rental) or driver service its a good budget hotel."
