"Remember that Sparks is the low end tier of Hilton. You don't get the expensive furnishings like in other Hilton hotels. There's no coffee maker in the room. But the room is clean and very spacious. Towels are good. Breakfast is continental breakfast which is fine by me. They make sure the coffee pots are always full. The bread items, cereal, and fruits are decent. The price was great. Staff was super friendly."

"Our first day started in one of the covered wagons, but due to how bad the wind was blowing, & the fires west of there, we only stayed there for four hours. The covering on the wagon felt like & sounded like the wind would rip it off at any minute. It was our 58th anniversary & we both finally admitted to each other that dealing with what was happening was not how we wanted to celebrate. We asked to move to one of the cute cabins on premises, and were granted that wish immediately. Our cabin was sooo great. We enjoyed our time immensely. No problems for the two days & nights we were there. We may try the Calistoga wagons again at another time! If not, we know that the cabins are there for us."

"Nothing about this motel was great I guesss minus the clean bed. We asked for an extra blanket were denied, got told the wrong directions to our room. Went to the room wasn’t what I reserved , wasn’t ever told anything until we entered the room.After a long travel day took a shower there was zero shampoo, hand wash/bar soap or body wash so had to just use conditioner, it can’t be that difficult to refill some bottles. AC worked but super loud woke me up a few times."

"The door closure was not secure. The shower door opened while using. Room smelled like chlorine and was very noisy."

"The motel is almost non-contact with the office. Everything is done on-line. Check in, getting room combo. They have no free breakfast. Very basic - but they go for the western look and decor. They live and die with the Big Texan Restaurant next door. Huge dining. If you have to have a steak (well done) you better opt for chicken. Ours was sent back 2x, and we gave up after that."

"Upon arrival at 4 pm had to wait 10 minutes while the front desk checked to see if they had a clean room. They gave us a room that had a double bed. We reserved a room with 2 queens. Wife went to the front desk and asked for a room with 2 queen beds and they said “sorry”” that they didn’t have any rooms. We asked for a refund and left."
