"Lovely traditional old-style hotel on the west end of the town's esplanade. Quiet and relaxing. High-ceiling rooms, comfy beds, french doors. Concierge, heavy-weight keys, nice public rooms. Excellent long breakfasts. Tourist information and assistance.

"A bit on the expensive side. The hotel is a bit outdated, however very good breakfast and rooms are clean and comfortable. Convenient for cervo e san Bartolomeo, even if not walking distances."
"The staff was pleasant, the breakfast very nice, pool clean and cool- room very small and dated. Limited space. Walk to a public beach was very long and you went through a dirty trailer park to get to it- parking difficult- overall wasn’t especially impressive."
"I enjoyed staying . The service is a five star hotel from the family own to all the staff you can ask for more .
This is a gem very greatfull to have spent 6 day here felt like a celebrity. Thank you "
"Wonderful staff, wonderful view, wonderful pool and gym and lots of food. Its is a premier hotel and very unique. If you stay do look at all the historic photos in the main building describing a life in Allasio 100 years ago."
"The owners were always available and ready for any queries and questions. The property is well located, surrounded by many nearby point of interest. My stay was very pleasant and I was very pleased to see how well maintained it is. Once I have the opportunity again, I’d very much like to come back here again.

"Could not check in earlier than planned but check in perfectly on time
Hôtel decoration is nice and unique
Heater needs to be pushed a lot to heat the large volume of the room
Staff nice and helpful"
"This is an older property. The staff, one person, was very helpful. The rooms are small but have what you need. We went in December so the town was very quiet during the week and busy on the weekend. "

"A True Gem on the Ligurian Coast – Hospitality at Its Finest!
Our stay at the Grand Hotel Diana Majestic was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the entire team — from the Front Desk to Housekeeping, Restaurant, and Beach staff — made us feel incredibly welcome and well cared for. The hotel itself is a jewel: spotlessly clean, ideally located, and beautifully set against the Ligurian coast.
Having parking and beach chairs included in the rate made everything easier, and the breakfast was simply outstanding — a perfect start to each day. The food throughout our stay was delightful, but what truly elevated the experience was the people.
Everyone we encountered was friendly, competent, and genuinely personable — and impressively multilingual. It was clear that the entire team takes pride in what they do, and their passion for great hospitality showed in every interaction.
Special mention to Mathilde at the Front Desk — an absolute star! Her warmth and professionalism were remarkable. Vivien at the pool was fantastic, always cheerful and attentive. Housekeeping kept everything spotless with a smile, and the restaurant team was managed with heart and precision.
We didn’t catch every name, but every team member played a part in making our stay memorable. Thank you for showing us what true hospitality looks like — we will most certainly be back!"
"When we arrived asked about parking. Told there was a location nearby but had to wait over an hour for somebody to arrive to show us where the location was. The space was an underground car space that was very difficult to park in as the space was very tight and had to reverse all way out up a ramp to get out of. On check out tried to charge us €20 for parking having mentioned nothing at check in. Advice park car nearby yourself"
