"Carpet was dirty and there were stains on one of the bed sheets. You have to go out of the building to get water from the dispenser and you need a flashlight to find the elevator. Outside the building is very dust and dirty everywhere. Is more like a cheap motel and self parking is $20 dollars per night and you may have to walk long ways to you room if you find parking."

"We had such a nice stay at the Monterey Peninsula Inn. The location is absolutely perfect. It is close to everything, and a short drive down to Big Sur, or up to Santa Cruz. But exploring Monterey was so much fun as well. The room wasn't anything too impressive, although it did have a full (small) kitchen, which was great and very convenient. All pots, pans, silverware, plates, cups, and others were supplied. The fridge is a small dorm room one, but it worked out for us. The staff was wonderful and very nice. I loved that the rooms were all having their front doors right to the parking lot. That made it very convenient for us to load our dog in the car. I would absolutely love to stay here again in the future! Thank you!"
