"We were very pleased with our stay. This is a cute, simple little hotel that is in a great location in La Jolla (highly recommend Don Bravo down the street for fish tacos). The room was clean and very fairly priced. The front desk staff were consistently friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again!"

"Let's start with the staff. From minute 1 you're greeted with smiles from staff that want to help. And that continues throughout your stay. Camilla, Vanessa, Zach and Miguel at the front desk were always happy to help. Tim (I believe the manager) was accommodating and took a hands on approach. Even the maintenance staff tasked with painting and repairs, Andres and Raul, were awesome and went beyond their job duties to help! The place is older, but extra efforts are made to keep it looking updated and clean. The room upon checking in was clean. The breakfast was consistently good and well stocked. The amenities were great. Pool and spa with a view of the ocean and beautiful sunsets. The beach was out the door of the property, across the boardwalk and onto the sand. The hotel offered rentals like bikes, e-bikes, boogie boards, beach chairs, umbrellas and more. We will definitely be back. Again everybody there made us feel welcomed and we could tell our comfort and satisfaction was their #1 priority. For that reason alone, we'll return."

"We had a wonderful experience at the Wayfair Hotel. Our room was right near the pool so very easy access. The pool area felt cozy, private, but right next to the action and Boardwalk when you wanted to get out. Staff and location was excellent. We would definitely stay again."

"I enjoyed my time at paradise point hotel. I would say that my main complaint was the distance our room was away from the pool. Restaurants and the lobby. It made it a bit of a hassle, even with a vehicle. Plus the nightly fee of $45 for parking on top of an almost $50 resort fee per night was excessive and surprising. If staff were more willing to help give rides back and forth to our room it would have made my time here more relaxing. But with the heat, it wasn’t very enjoyable."
