"Staff were great. Room was pretty clean. Keep in mind - this is definitely more a motel than hotel, but we had no issues with the general cleanliness of the room. The breakfast was nice but there aren’t a lot of seating options. Bed was comfortable and the outdoor shower was nice for trying to get all of the sand off a 4 year old who decided to lay on her back and do sand angels on the beach."

"This, in my humble opinion, is the best place to stay in Santa Cruz. It’s DIRECTLY in the middle of town—it’s easy to get anywhere from the hotel. The property is adorable. The pool is great. The bar is open late and the food is good. The rooms are updated and super cute. Whenever friends come to see our daughter at UCSC, I always recommend it. We love it ."
