"My two teenagers and I loved our stay at the San Carlos Hotel. We chose a family room with an enclosed bedroom with king bed, as well as two bathrooms (one shower, two toilets) and a sofa bed in the living room. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful, and the location was ideal. We walked to Times Square, the Museum of Modern Art, Grand Central Station, and to various subway stations with ease. The hotel held our luggage for free after check-out, and we never heard noise from the...

"It was a heatwave in the city, and the air conditioning in every room barely worked. They were very kind, and tried to help. They moved us multiple times trying to find a room with a consistent working AC and put fans in the rooms but it was pretty brutal. TV Remote didnt work either, had to have maintenance come fix it . Only one working elevator, took 5-8 minutes to go up or down every time. Staff wonderful."

"Doesn’t have Internet in the room. This 21st-century is midtown New York . They claimed to him none of the networks they suggested worked, nobody is able to fix this within a week. While the location is great stuff is friendly, I haven’t seen any other guests… it was a surrealistic experience."
