"Very clean"

"Breakfast was hot and good, staff were always polite, rooms were clean, this is the second time we have stayed here. Will make it a third when we go back. Only reason I didn't leave 5 stars for a few was minimal. Our room shower water was more luke warm never got hot enough to enjoy and there were some black stains on our comforter, it was clean just there. Small things. Everything else was great. "

"The staff all seemed friendly but the place was filthy. We skipped the breakfast based on the fact we didn’t think they washed their dishes enough to be sanitary. The wall behind the bathroom door had human poo on it, and the water wasn’t warm. "

"The water heater supposedly burst so we had no water to take a shower or go to the bathroom. No breakfast because we couldn’t trust the water source. The toilet in our room filled up with brown fluid. We had to use bottled water to brush our teeth. The front door of the entrance into the building is filthy. I do expect some sort of refund as we had to leave to find elsewhere to stay, go to the bathroom and take a shower."

"The staff was wonderful. The breakfast was hot and tasty! I loved the make your own waffle station and the biscuits and gravy. The room was clean, no smell at all. Sheets were not dirty as other reviews mentioned. This will be our go to place we need a quick stay. Thank you!!"

"Towels were stained, one garbage can by the door, no way for continuous fan so it kicked on and off all night, no hair dryer. Worst part was they use scented detergent or softener on the sheets! I stand headache and allergies! Mentioned it to the clerk in the morning. Of course she said she has to do what the tell her, which I understand, but don’t know if there will be reconsideration. "

"April 2026 stay, which was 'out of season'. Booked room for five nights with our adult daughter accompanying us. Arrived to find two sets of convention people at the site and the room allocated was a double occupancy bed. Went back to reception and they eventually allocated us a room in 'the estate', an adjacent set of cabins located about 1 mile away. Location was picturesque with lakeside views. "This is the 4th or 5th time we have stayed at this property. The property was overall very quiet and clean as before. The rooms are spacious, linens clean, and the beds are very comfortable. There was a big downside this time though. I had 2 reservations for 1 night - 1 room for my family and 1 room for my father-in-law. We did not realize until after we received our credit card statement that we were double charged for the stay!"
