"We had a lovely stay at Lavender cottage, the location is ideal for Shenington Kart track. The pastries, milk, butter and orange juice were very much appreciated. The alpacas are cute and can be seen from the bedroom and garden, the hot tub was amazing!"

"Arrival and check in was all good, restaurant was good great food. We stayed with a wedding party, so we had quite a few rooms. I believe the rest of the parties rooms were fine however my room was on the second floor. We we had suitcases to carry to the second floor, large mother of the bride dresses with a large hat box and accessories. This was extremely difficult for myself because I was leaving the hotel at different times from other people. I was in a hurry with time. I’m trying to get my...

"The hotel room was cleaned daily and was done to a high standard. Staff from booking in to checking out were friendly and polite. Good breakfast enough to start the day off. Couldn’t fault it . Evening meals are of a high standard and I would recommend anyone to eat there. Parking was a little on the tight side particularly during the day time. "

"Reception was very busy and had to queue on most occasions. Receptionists were helpful but needed more than one person on duty at busy times. Room was comfortable and a good size. Bar staff in the Bassey bar went missing for long periods of time on the 23rd April. "

"On the whole it was a very enjoyable birthday weekend for myself and my wife. One small comment to make is on the Saturday night we opted for the buffet as opposed to the à la carte. The choice and quality weren’t the best but ok, only then to find out when the time came to pay that the costs were the same for the buffet as they were for the à la carte! Bit naughty really. "
