We enjoyed sitting in the lounge and bar and service was friendly and very good, the staff are all great and very welcoming. "This is an excellent country hotel, about 1.5 miles down a lane from the main a1, it’s quiet and peaceful and although in need of refurbishment, which it’s getting after November this year, is still extremely nice.
