I've made several trips to Sihanoukvile, but prefer Otres to any of the other beaches. That said, for longer stays it makes more sense to sleep in the city proper and take trips out to Otres. There are more facilities (tour departures, laundry, shopping, etc.) and the dinning options more numerous.

"My room was perfect, I liked the desk, balcony and bathroom. The wifi did not work whatsoever and that was extremely annoying. There was a TV with no remote. The area around the hotel was quite eery, even during the daytime. It was a really built-up area, but there were barely any people around and I felt quite unsafe. It felt like there was no soul or life to the place. The hotel was okay though. "

From arriving to the exclusive private ferry port I was greeted by an amazing view of several islands as I awaited for our private boat to whisk away on a 10 minute boat ride to our own private Gilligan’s island retreat called Krabey. Upon arriving we were greeted by the warmest staff and offered a ceremonial watering….
