"My new hubby and I stayed here for a few nights for skiing. Overall had a good time the rooms were spacious, clean and tidy and right outside of the ski slope. However no where on the booking told us that there were no currency exchange options or ATM in the hotel. Luckily we had the exact amount of money otherwise we would’ve had to bus it back to a main area (20-40mins) to get cash to hire our ski gear. There’s minimal food options around the area however the hotel had a buffet Brekky/dinner...

"The hotel is very near to the slope for the resort, less 2 mins of walking. Dry room is located in the basement level Restaurant is good for both breakfast and dinner with reasonable price. Supermarket is just right across the street The only down side is it can be a little bit noisy during the late night on the main street. "

"We had the best experience staying at Pension Hobby during our visit to Japan. The owners are very kind and they went out of their way to make our stay memorable. Our room was simple and clean with a modern space heater. Norikura itself is tiny and the number of restaurants is limited. "We stayed at Espoir Misawa for four nights. The rooms were clean and comfortable, albeit slightly dated. The ski-in / ski-out feature was also a huge plus, and the dinner course menu was excellent. The highlight of our stay was the warm hospitality we received by Misawa-san and the team, which made the stay an unforgettable one. "
