"Upon arrival, the front desk didn't seem organized at all. Seemed like a poorly trained staff. Once we were escorted to our room we noticed the bar fridge wasn't stocked and the floors were not mopped (still dirty from previous guests). The room was spacious. There wasn't any hot water in the shower :(. We did eat at the Italian restaurant, but i can't say that the food was that great either :S
THE MAIN COMPLAINT - my husband received a call from his doctor back home that his test results came in and he needed to get back home and be admitted to hospital ~ this was a truly unexpected event. So the day we checked in, we had to book a flight home the following day hence only staying 1 out of 7 nights. We explained this very unfortunate situation to the front desk manager and we felt that she understood the urgency and would request a provision on our account as we had to fly back home. A month later, we were informed that the hotel would NOT refund any portion of this stay - BAD KARMA Azura Beach! This was an emergency, we provided hospital documentation from our return and they chose not to offer any compensation. I realize that we were past the cancellation date, but common, that's POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!"
