"Overall, our stay turned out to be great, but the booking process was frustrating.
I booked through Hotels.com for a weekend stay to celebrate our father's surprise birthday. When making the reservation, I carefully selected three rooms based on our group's sleeping arrangements: one room with two queen beds, one room with one king bed, and one room with a king bed and sofa bed.
About a week before our stay, I called the hotel to confirm our reservations. The receptionist informed me that the room types I had booked were actually located at one of their other properties and were not available at this location. It was then that I was told that every room at this property only has one king bed.
This was disappointing because I specifically chose those room types on their booking website so everyone in our group could have their own sleeping space without having to share beds. Had the listing accurately reflected the room options at this property, I would have booked somewhere else that better met our needs.
Thankfully, the staff was friendly and our stay itself ended up being enjoyable. My only complaint is that the room descriptions on Hotels.com (or the hotel's booking information) need to be updated so future guests know exactly what accommodations are available before they book.
parking on site (as we are all from out of town with vehicles) and walking to the beach were amazing. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. Plenty of pillows!"
