Great hotel, High standard of decor and excellent staff. Bars and restaurant top quality, food excellent. Also hotel is central. Opposite the main railway station and Central Bus and tram stops. Shops and restaurants close by and about 10 mins walk to the harbour and opera house.

Very basic, but clean and with all one needs for few nights. The room really is soundproofed. Excellent location and good value for money. I would add a couple of hangers in the room.

Karl Johan Hotel
The location was perfect, walked right out to the center of town. The room was clean and comfortable. The first person we encountered at the front desk was polite, but not very welcoming. One last comment is do not get a car for Oslo, we had to park several blocks from the hotel and it cost $40 for ...
