We arrived and hauled our luggage to the office to pick up the apartment keys. The office was unattended because it was late on a Sunday. We tried to find the location id to enter after clicking the sharebox link but that didn't work so we called the after hours number. A friendly helpful security man directed us to a building around the cornrer. So we hauled our luggage there found the location Id and the sharebox opened. We now had to find the apartment with the aid of a hand drawn map. To cut a long story short we again hauled our luggage around the opera area for some time before eventually finding the apartment. Everyone we spoke to from the Bjorvika team for assistance was friendly and helpful but I don't see how this could have been anything but an awkward check-in.

Lovely apartment.
Pros- - [ ] Beautifully decorated and spacious welcoming apartment - [ ] Lovely open views throughout the whole apartment which was beautiful with everything covered in snow (this was a pleasant surprise as pictures on selling site did not do the views justice ) - [ ] Spacious balcony , both in living and bedroom area - [ ] Great central location - [ ] Shower is really spacious and powerful - [ ] Got all the kitchen equipment you need to clean, and cook etc - [ ] There was only two pillows and one heater, but I asked if I could have more pillows and an additional heater and by the time I got back to the apartment they was there waiting for me :) - [ ] Bed is really comfortable with great views. - [ ] Check out experience was smooth, we just had to leave the keys on the side. Cons- - [ ] Check in experience- having to walk all the way to the office to get the keys then walk another 10 minutes to the actual apartment.Also when following the location on google maps it taken us to the back door, it was not until I rang them to ask why they was not answering they explained that I was at the back door and not the main door. I could have done with this information prior. - [ ] Not often I’ve gone to an apartment without the basic shampoo and body wash for showering - [ ] Smart telly does not work well with connecting your phone and opening your apps, I think it needs updating. - [ ] The WiFi barcode on the door does not work, you actually have to connect to the inter

Oslo christmas
It was a good stay. We could have used a second key but that may have been because we did early check-in. Need a floor mat inside the front door especially during inclement weather. Need better instructions or manuals for appliances. Washer door would not open after cycle was run. Light over kitchen table was flickering, needs to be checked. We had a wonderful stay, location was excellent and convenient especially close to all transit.

A little tricky to find the office to check in. You need to head to the 'wrong' end of platform 3 to access the pedestrian bridge above. Nice cosy apartment, good kitchen facilities and bathroom, large bedroom. 4 min walk to trams and buses, a good grocery store 1 minute away and food court 4 mins walk

The property itself is ok. But the elevator work sporadic. The biggest issue was the temperature set up on the apartment.It was freezing and we could not adjust it...We got so sick that we have to call a Doctor for help. It was torture and inhumane. This is a great property. It’s very conveniently located close Oslo Central station. It’s well maintained and spacious. Take into consideration that train station is nearby so you will hear some noise at all times. Otherwise it’s much better than pretty much any local hotel. Easy connection to historic places as well Oslo Airport if you use Fly To Get.

My wife and I stayed here for 3 days during our time in Oslo. It is near the train station and the core downtown area. The room was reasonably large. It had a decent flat screen TV, free internet, a washing machine, dishwasher, stove, microwave and kitchen supplies. This was an advantage because of the cost of dining out in Oslo. We did save money by doing our own cooking. The downside was that the ventilation system was noisy and we did not sleep well because of that. If you are a heavy sleeper then it may not be an issue.

The property was in a new area with a lot of construction which started promptly at 8:00 every morning. The curtain was missing so at night couldn’t completely cover the window, the towels were very dirty and needed to be washed. The hair dryer was missing and needed to be requested a as well. Aside from that, everything else was acceptable.

Bjorvika apts have the worst client support that we have come across in all our travels, which is extensive. We were not able to find the lock box, the instructions were unclear. Two local cab drivers had great diffidulty finding the address of the office. The after hours support could not direct us to the lock box & said we would have to return the following day. We had to stay in another hotel. The following day we found the office as there was signage to indicate the office was around the corner. This sign was not there the previous evening. To top it off, had we found the lock box, they had given us the wrong apartment # & we still would have needed to go to another hotel. The apt complex is still under construction & the furnishings are sub standard. Our rental agreement was for a superior apt. The administration does not accept fault & insist the fault is ours. The sooner these folks go out of business the better for all of us. Horible experience.

What an incredibly bad experience. First it was hard to actually find where the physical apartment was located, vs. where to get the key. Then they charged a 5K deposit that was not returned. And still is not returned.

Large clean apartment with excellent security and in an excellent location. Initial confusion about making payment for the apartment. Expedia made it sounds as if payment would be made on arrival whereas operator sent emails threatening cancellation unless prepaid. Very poor instructions about Wifi, television and garbage/recycling. It would be a nice touch to provide coffee and tea.

The staff helped us get into our room efficiently so that my husband could make an important business call. And the apartment was as advertised—no trickery. And it was in a great location, and it was clean. We liked it so much will use the same apartment again on our next trip to Oslo!

Location was great, but apartment is not well maintained. Door to bedroom was damaged, and smoke alarms were ripped out with wires hanging. Also, lightbulb in hallway wasn’t replaced leaving it rather dim. Coffee maker has no filters, and only small packs of shampoo (2) with no conditioner. Very small thin sliver of soap for hand washing. And there was an extra pillow in the cupboard but with no pillow case. Also, the pillows Were flat and terrible. Very substandard apartment.

Although check in at different location, both Walking distance from train station. Was quiet & secure. Didn’t like the fact that we were charged a security deposit where usually a credit card hold will suffice. Bed was very ordinary & pillows virtually non existent. Pillow cases dirty. The apartment is very well-equipped and the location is within walking distance to the city central. There’s also a big supermarket in the vicinity. The only issue we had was that the mattress was too soft. We would prefer a harder mattress

Very comfortable for a week’s stay. Much more spacious than a hotel and with the essential home appliances. If only some basic toiletries was provided, especially helpful for late night check-in. And checking-in requires a bit of walking around.

Good, but too expensive for what it was
The apartment was clean and fairly comfortable, though utterly lacking in charm... the ventilation system was next to useless and the Internet was not very efficient anywhere other than the living room, though. I think it is a bit rude to be charged - on top Hotels.com’s advertised fee - more than 2000 kroner for “cleaning” when the cleaners came only once during a 10 day stay, and even then, several hours later than the appointed time. Also, the “double bed” was two single beds covered with a thin mattress top - which was not particularly comfortable.

It was a standalone apartment, and was spacious and clean. It also had all the amenities we wanted, for cooking and doing our laundry. Perhaps a relative downside of it is that it was a bit of a walk to the attractions, but it was still acceptable distance :)

Nice, and need further informaton non-local people
Room and view are nice, it is clean. It is better you have to learn how to operate dish washing machine, clothes washing machine and cooking as well. The apartment was difficult to find (lack of information at front door）。

Comfortable and clean small apartment
The apartment was in a good location near the opera with a bus stop right outside the apartment which made it very convenient to reach other areas quickly. As an added bonus, the train was also within walking distance, so we could walk to the central train easily where there is a train that takes you directly to the airport. We could see the central train station and the harbor from our apartment balcony. A grocery store was also within a few minutes walking distance. The apartment was very clean and well maintained with a kitchenette for preparing meals. The small bathroom also had a washing machine available. The apartment was small, but it had we everything we needed for our stay. The only thing that we didn’t expect was that they charged an extra cleaning fee similar to an Airbnb experience.
