"Lovely clean hotel with great views of the moon and sunrise from our ocean view room. Parking was easy. Took us a few attempts to get into the hotel from the carpark as the door latch seem to catch a little. Room was clean and well appointed with a comfy bed. TV took a while to respond and it took me a while to realise I needed to wait for it. Great amenities in the shower, though someone had already opened and used the bath salts that were provided. "Parking was really good - easy access to room etc. The staff were lovely and very helpful. Convenient location to the shops in Mosgiel. The only observation i would make is that there is nowhere in the bathroom to stack your clean cloths when you have a shower. They could have done with a simple towel/cloths rack of even a little table. Regardless we had a lovely stay thank you"

Instead of cancelling the booking from their end the host messaged me on trivago, since I was expecting a message anyway for the login code, and you have to login to read messages I left it. Host also alerted trivago it was double booked, who did not contact me either. Drove all the way to Dunedin with 2 kids, stranded and nowhere to stay. Spent $400 to stay at scenic circle for the first night, Dunedin was booked out for the second night so we had to drive...

"This was a one-night stay for my mum and sis-in-law, and was really comfortable for them. Warm and cosy. Carolyn was so helpful, arranging a late check in and moving my visitors to the ground level, for easier access for my mum. My guests were v happy!"

"Well located. Easy walk to central Dunedin. Rooms look out to a courtyard with lovely trees and plants. Nice room with a well stocked kitchen. Parking was very limited and getting luggage to our room was challenging— longish walk to the elevator (outside) but the room was worth it and I would recommend staying here."

"Had to ask for the heat to be turned on. After the room never got any warmer had to call front desk. They brought up a portable heater which did help. Turned heater off for the night and room temperature went back down by the morning. Also, it’s necessary to navigate stairs to get to room. Elevator does not open at floor level "
