The room was spotless. The blind was a blackout blind, which meant that we could sleep in. The amenities provided were excellent as well; moisturising cream etc... It was also conveniently located from the subway exit. Will definitely be back the next time we are in Osaka.

Clean, spacious (a premium in Japan) rooms. Central to many of the main tourist attractions. 15 min walk to Dotonbori and 1-2 blocks away from the Metro. Very satisfied with our stay.

Great hotel, room size was great, it seemed cleaned except under the bed!! Location was good. It’s about a 20 min walk to the dotonbori bridge/walk area. There were a couple other hotels a little closer and looked nice, but I would stay here at the Excel again.

The best place we stayed at during our trip to Japan. I can’t emphasize enough how convenient, clean, spacious (huge plus), and elegant this place was. For the price we paid, there is no question about it that this hotel went above and beyond. Very hight recommend. Another major plus is it is right beside a huge shopping district, subway is 2-3 mins walk away, 15 mins walk to Shinsaibashi and 20 mins walk to dotonbori area. It couldn’t be more convenient than that.

Beautiful hotel with large size rooms. Unfortunately there are some noisy bikes on Midosuji Road at night and can hear the noise from the room, making sleeping a bit tricky. Otherwise walking distance to Shinsaibashi and friendly and helpful staff too. Great breakfast selection.

Breakfast was good. So was the dinner restaurant. Lovely food. Great to have a restaurant there and not have to go out but . Good eating places near. Osaka castle not far. worth visit. The entrance was a bit unconventional; hotel in an office building. shower in room with bath. ie not over bath. Safer if disabled.
