The staff was extremely friendly. The rooms were clean. The building was kind of on a side street a little hard to find but the proximity to things around it was great. JR Osaka station just about 5-10 minute walk away depending mostly on lights.

Hotel Kinki in Umeda.
Location is superb with many restaurants a stone throw away. We originally thought it would be very noisy. Surprising, the windows have 4 layers of glass that dismiss any noise from outside. The service is excellent with free water. A family of four is very happy with this place.

Overall a nice place for a short stay
Room is clean, not too small, only downside is the window can’t be opened so there is lack of fresh air. The hotel staff are very polite, and there are many many restaurants which open till late night just on the same street.

Very good
The best thing about this hotel is the helpful and friendly reception staff. The rooms were of decent size by Japanese standards. Many eating options within a minute walk away.

First impressions not good didn't feel comfortable with location of hotel. Staff were very nice. Room was very dowdy and not very comfortable. Thought hotel was over priced. Not to our taste I am sfraid.

the hotel is strategically located near Osaka central station and surrounded by restaurants. the staff were very nice and the rooms were very spacious compared to other hotels of the same price range.

Fantastic all around!
This hotel has got it all, great location, exceptional staff, and wonderful facilities. It can be a little tricky to find at first but Google maps was really helpful and after that we just had to look for the Hep 5 ferris wheel (which is huge, can't miss it) and we knew where to go. The location is terrific, close to the train and metro stations plus lots of food and shopping too, some are 24 hours, which helps if you get in late like we did. Yes there are some adult establishments here and there but we had our two young sons with us and they barely noticed since they were so awed by everything else around. The staff at the hotel is just fantastic, so helpful and kind! Our room on the 6th floor was quiet and on the small side but as this was our 4th stay in Japan, the size was standard and enough for us. The amenities are great, basic toiletries plus a great lounge area where you can freshen up at too before or after checkout. All in all, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely stay here again!!

Friendly staff, centeral location
We stayed in 3 other hotels in Japan on this trip..No free bottled water and no free breakfast was the major difference. This hotel gives you one key on a massive baton (like your going to steal their key). So it's inconvenient to carry around and inconvenient there isn't two keys.. Other hotels give you 2 swipe cards.

Good for the price I paid. Location within walking distance to Umeda stations. Might be hard to find on the first time, once u understand the surrounding area, it is easy to navigate around. Room size is typical for Japanese size. However beds are good and hard enough for good rest.

Nice hotel with good location and friendly staff
Location is good, just 10 minutes walk to subway/rail station, major shopping centre and eatery. Room is small but staff are friendly and helpful. I will choose this hotel again next time.

Location was excellent. Close to shopping mall and train station. Room was very clean. It was quite spacious when we joined the 3 beds together. Staff were very polite. We had a great stay in Hotel Kinki.

The hotel is a bit of walk to akasaka station but still a good location. It's one of the affordable hotels I can find in Tokyo and overall it's ok just the room and bed a bit too small.

For me this hotel compared to others I had stayed at in Japan for the same price wasn't very good. I'm sure for some the location would be good, but for me it felt seedy and was very loud at night time. My room had a window but I couldn't see the sky/ a view. Slightly more hostel than hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

This hotel was a short walk from Umeda station in Osaka. The only complaint we really had was the steel door to the rooms, noisy and out of place. The immediate area around the hotel must have been an adult entertainment area, and felt a little dodgy after dark. But as for providing a clean and reasonably equipped room as a base for sight-seeing and exploring, this hotel was fine. Unsure if I would stay again, due to the location, but I would certainly consider it.

Hotel Kinki stay
We stay 4 nights at Kinki .. Room is small but quite adequate .. Close to everything . Service desk very polite and helpful.. There is a Life supermarket 10 mins walk ( ask front desk) got everything ..it's can be difficult to get to Kinki if you arrive at night even it's near by .. Ask young people around to guide the way , make sure print out hotel Kinki full address ( go to google map) ..once you got to Kinki enjoy Osaka ..

Nice hotel within walking distance from JR station
Very courteous and helpful reception. One major thing about this hotel is the location. It can be a bit tough to find it as it is a bit hidden at a busy intersection. Room is clean and overall is good. Toilet seat cover has no function so it can be cold during winter. Surrounding are many places to eat and bars and lounges. Walking a little further, you will find many major big department stores and also JR Osaka interchange to access many other parts of Japan.
