Christina and her family are amazing at presenting a local breakfast, assisting with creating tours thru the area, and recommending delicious foods and places to eat. If you want an experience that will last a lifetime, I would definitely stay here. Her mother is an angel, and they are so inviting. It was like staying with good friends. "Ok, so this wasn’t the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in, however I think it’s unrealistic to expect 5 star luxury when you’re paying so little. Value for money, absolutely 10 out of 10. The room was very large, clean and comfortable, the bed was super comfortable and the views from the balcony were stunning. The room was a little dated but it added to the charm and the bathroom was large, clean and modern with a very powerful shower. Breakfast was ample, if you’re expecting a full English, think again, you’re not in England! Plenty of fresh bread, cheese, cold meats, yogurt, cereal, fruits and vegetables with a sweet treat for 2 thrown in for good measure. Then you get to the owner, Ingolf. Never have we been made to feel more welcome. He’s a larger than life character, full of good humour and nothing is too much trouble. We’d come back from a day out somewhere and he’d have coffee and a home baked cheesecake or fruit waiting, at no extra charge I might add! I’ve seen a couple of recent reviews slating the place and I can honestly say, they are being unfair and unjust. Like I say, the place isn’t a 5 star resort but you aren’t paying 5 star prices and it’s unrealistic to expect that. Ingolf is restoring it room by room and some areas maybe look better than others currently. Will I return here? Absolutely, we can’t wait to come back, looking forward to seeing the changes you make. Thank you again for making us feel so welcome."

"The property was conveniently located for a visit to Europa Park as it’s only a 15-minute leisurely walk so we did not have to drive there and we saved on parking fees. The unit we stayed was in the top floor so the spiral staircase was quite tricky to go up to bring our large luggage. So this will not be suitable for disabled guests."

"Very unique reception area, our boys loved the dinosaur skeleton. Room was well equipped, and the window into the bathroom was an interesting touch. The pool wasn't the biggest, but we only used it on the day of our arrival as we were at Rulantica for a couple of days. The waterpark was literally just across the balcony from us which was super convenient. It was really annoying being charged for the baby cot and that wasn't made clear to us ahead of arrival and we have cancelled other hotel bookings purely for adding this charge as we consider it to be unreasonable. We ate at the main restaurants, breakfast was great as was Tre Kronen and Bubba Svens. We would return to the hotel."

"Great hotel, very clean and modern. Large underground car parking for $10 a night. Great for Europa Park and Rulantica (you can also get free parking at a park for one day only), the staff explained that there are also shuttle buses available for both parks. Located right next to 2 supermarkets which is great. The only thing that we didn't like was that there was no fridge in the room, but it wasn't that big an issue. Would definitely stay again."
