Simply outstanding

This was our third visit to Villa Orselina, having first visited in 2020. It's a firm favourite and we return annually to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Villa Orselina really is a little slice of heaven. The hotel is beautiful and in a stunning location and the staff most welcoming and attentive. We'll be back!

Villa Orselina zurecht ein Small Luxury Hotel....

Ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt in der Villa Orselina. Die Zimmer sind wunderschön mit Blick auf den See, der Pool liegt in einem geschützten Bereich, nicht einsehbar von der Rezeption und Restaurants. Wir kommen gerne zurück.

Schöne Lage und Zimmer, Essen verbesserungsfähig

Schöne, geräumige Zimmer mit toller Aussicht. Sehr freundliches Personal. Frühstück nicht auf 5*-Niveau (Auswahl überschaubar, Brotkrumenreste in bereitstehenden Brotkörbchen, in frische Schalen hineinragende Pflanzen). Die im Voraus gebuchte Halbpension war enttäuschend. Das Degustationsmenu war über unsere 5 Tage stets dasselbe und bestand aus Speisen, die sowieso auf der Abendkarte waren. Alternativ konnte man aus der ebenfalls überschaubaren Abendkarte wählen. Nach drei Abendessen (in sehr unterschiedlicher Qualität: sehr dürftig während der im Saal nebenan stattfindenden Hochzeitsfeier, sehr gut am zweiten Tag, durchschnittlich am dritten Tag) konnten wir uns nicht mehr auf einen erneuten Abend im Orselina-Restaurant freuen und gingen nach Abmeldung auswärts essen. Die Qualität des in der Nähe liegenden Restaurants hat uns deutlich mehr überzeugt. Die lächerliche Entschädigung für unseren Nichtbesuch des Abendessens betrug den halben Preis einer Vorspeise. Unserer Meinung nach ist die Küche des schönen Hotels deutlich überbewertet. Der Spardruck ist offenbar so gross, dass wir das als Gäste in einem nicht günstigen 5*-Hotel doch deutlich spüren. Dennoch war es ein schöner Aufenthalt an einem sehr schön gelegenen Ort!
