"Room needed updating carpet was quite grubby bed was ok Dissappointed with the lack of amenities we stayed for 3 nights and never seen any members of staff and no topping up with teabags sugar or milk We had stayed in the hotel a few years ago and nothing seemed to have changed"

"The room was terrible, walls were damp and room smelt because of the damp, wallpaper peeling off, bathroom disgusting, no soap in dispenser, bath had cracks and toilet didn’t flush properly"

"Not 1 to complain, but room got changed 1 day before, but the bad thing was no heating on at the entertainment at night it was freezing, rate it 3 from 10"

"Pretty decent. Always get bad reviews. Stayed numerous times always find you get what pay for, looking for perfection pay more for another hotel."

"I had a problem with my first room. Dirty towels and an unchanged bed. It was very unpleasant. The reception dismissed it as a normal occurrence and promptly offered a new room to look at. This was clean at least. The bathroom door did stick and I was locked in, (my partner had to kick it open) so this would be most distressing is staying alone. All this said, the room rates are well below average in the area, especially for a weekend."

"Lovely big room.. very clean.. breakfast was good value would definitely stay again"
