"This is a very good hotel and well worth repeat visits. In the hills with outstanding views. To go to the village or seaside resorts down the hill you need to use a car. Long distance, narrow and no footpath makes walking impossible. The local bus service should be avoided. Infrequent and I have been on more comfortable roller coasters. "Absolutely lovely hotel in a stunningly restored Renaissance palazzo. We booked for one night and ended up staying three nights. Spotless clean, excellent service, and tasteful rooms in a scenic little town with few tourists. Ideal for day trips to Asti, Alba, Fossano, Cuneo, and other culturally relevant sites in the Piemonte. We fell in love with Mondovi, its excellent restaurants, and the calm genius loci. Barbara and Massimo, the owners, gave us a tour of the palazzo and the neighborhood....
