"We had some situations with the facilities and I had to change rooms and had another situation. Doesn't sound good,however they made everything ok. All personnel were great. From the person Gabriel that came late at night to correct a problem to the maintenance person that came twice. Their attitude and wanting to make our stay comfortable has to be commended. The only reason you don't get all 5 stars is because the facility has to have more preventive measures. This hotel is blessed with great people."

"If you plan to visit Oriental, you must stay at Magnolia House Bed and Breakfast! The innkeepers are so friendly and accommodating. They greeted me as I arrived and took me on a tour of the house explaining the available amenities. The house has a wrap around porch, perfect for relaxing in the evening (I stayed in August and was surprised by the mild evening temperature). I had to leave early morning and typically do not eat breakfast so they had breakfast bars and fruit available for me to grab and go. They also have a coffee and tea bar available 24/7 with snacks, wine, and beer. The entire house was beautifully decorated and the beds were so comfortable that once my head hit the pillow, I didn’t wake up until my alarm went off. I stayed in the Roe Suite and web pictures do not do it justice. It’s a large suite with two entrances, one leading directly to the room that has the drinks and snacks (very convenient). The sitting area has a large comfortable couch, tv, and bookshelves filled with books. The bath, with tiled floors, full-length mirror, large double sink counter space, separate shower and large tub, is as large as the bedroom! And I have to mention the location, right in the middle of town, walking distance to the waterfront, shops, and restaurants, and a short distance to the grocery store. The innkeepers have thought of everything including a welcome gift with chocolates and a package of Magnolia House coffee. I will definitely return."

"We stayed for 1 night. Room was nice had a mini kitchen in it to cook if you wanted. We arrived a little early and was able to check in, staff was very friendly. We enjoyed our stay"
