Despite having the best views in town, with the Örebro Castle right in front, this is a sad and dull hotel. Most of the staff, particularly at breakfast, could not care less with hotel guests. Rooms on the annex do not have A/C and shades do not work well. The breakfast room is messy, with food and drinks on the floor, with staff neglecting cleaning it. It was our second experience at the hotel and there won’t be a third. It is a shame that such a great location is being wasted by poor management and/or lack of interest from owners. Örebro now has better options, as we have learnt on this trip.

This hotel is across the street from the castle, which is great. The rooms are spacious and well stocked. The breakfast was nice and if I am ever in the area again, I would stay here without hesitation.

Overvall, the hotel was nice and comfortable. The shower tiles, and sliding door definitely need to be replaced/updated. Also, the window curtain had a lot of stains on it. However, I must say that the spa and breakfast buffe was amazing. Def 10/10.

The location was ideal - close to the hub of Orebro. There were lots of very good restaurants within walking distance. The staff were excellent and the property itself clean and well kept.

Paid parking did not include advertised charging this requires download of app and separate payment (expensive and cumbersome). No double bed two twin beds only in deluxe room. A double bed was offered in a smaller and not renovated room. We stayed in the annex that was very noisy affecting our sleep.

We had problems from the start to the end of our visit. First of all we weren’t going to get the room that was reserved so we could stay close to our company for this trip. Next, we were recommended to park at Färgeriet, a word of caution to anyone visiting: this parking garage is LOCKED on weekdays from 00-16. MAKE SURE YOU PLAN ACCORDINGLY. There’s also a fee of 900kr to have the garage unlocked outside those hours. The hotel wouldn’t reimburse us even though we were out of town visitors and stayed at the parking garage the staff recommended. Our leave was delayed several hours because of that. Cannot recommend anyone to stay at this hotel with this level of lax responsibility from the staff.

Det som drar ner betyget något är en missad taxibokning, ingen riktig lobby och kallt i frukostmatsalen. Att hotellet är av äldre modell drar ner något på bekvämligheten men bidrar till charm. Plus för silverförmån som gav rabatt på restaurang i huset (även om jag fick påminna för att få kupongen)
