"Perfect weekend getaway - staycation. If what you are looking for is an all amenities, active, accessible, stay- this is not for you. If what you want is a quiet, peaceful, nature, serenity feel- then this is it! Keep in mind that they are under renovation, but other than that it was perfect. Juan, the property manager was great to communicate with! He was very transparent about the renovations, etc., but accommodated us also given that I made the reservation the night before. He arranged pick up at the airport for us which was very helpful because it is far from Bucaramanga. The staff were onsite limited amount of time- so do not rely on site entertainment. But breakfast was brought to our room each morning and was delicious and dinner was also very tasty (and so were their cocktails). Unforgettable scenery, friendly dogs on the property, which also made us feel secure. During the day we did a walk around in the locals were really friendly and even share some beer with us. Since the staff are their limited hours, there is a little at home store down the street. He was a perfect way to relax and get away from lifeโs busy schedule. I highly recommend to get tours to San Gil and Barichara and many will pick you up at the lodge. Lastly I recommend to schedule a massage! Juan helped us schedule and the massage therapist had a great set up and was very relaxing"

"The hotel was great. Celina who is at the pool is absolutely amazing. As a solo traveler who does not speak English, she went the extra mile to make me feel welcomed and safe and even taking the time to talk with me and make sure I ate. The hotel was clean and very beautiful. All the staff was very kind and helpful. Will definitely stay here again. "
