Lovely little hotel. The room was clean and well appointed. Breakfast was the usual fare. We were just passing through. But we’ll stop here again if we find ourselves nearby.

Excellent comfortable room. Very spacious. Bed was extremely comfortable. Friendly staff. The breakfast was very good. Only issue was noise you can hear from outside and neighbouring establishments. Making it hard to go to sleep early. Aside from that I was a very good stay and would recommend

Good location, very close to all the restaurants and bars on Main Street. The property is ok but needs upkeep. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good with a variety of options and the staff fill up the buffet regularly.

Super convenient to All Star Village. Less than ten minutes away. Steps from Main St. Oneonta and easy access to restaurants and shops. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms, property, and parking lot are severely dated and in need of repair.

While my options were limited in a small college town for parents weekend, and this hotel was available at a premium, it did not feel like a nice experience. The ceiling in our room had clearly suffered major leaks. The wallpaper was peeling back. The rug matted and stained or faded throughout the hotel. I think it is slated for reconstruction. What could be cleaned was clean. The staff were very sweet. It was a great location. Desperate need of maintenance and renewal. I wish it well.

Breakfast was standard. Room was well maintained and clean. The Marx was clearly very nice in its day. I didn’t see a better place to stay in the area. It’s got a Bucs stop for the all star village so that’s a huge plus if that’s the reason for your stay.
